Nursing methods for gastric and duodenal ulcers

Gastroduodenal ulcer is a very common disease. Patients with this disease will experience upper abdominal pain, acid reflux and vomiting. Treating gastroduodenal disease requires a certain amount of time and persistence in treatment. It is necessary to pay more attention to its care, otherwise it may relapse.

1. Eat regularly, in small amounts and frequently, and avoid rough, overly cold, overly hot, and irritating foods such as spicy foods, strong tea, coffee, etc.

2. Quit smoking and limit alcohol consumption.

3. Relieve mental stress.

4. Use medication to accelerate the healing of ulcers when necessary. Some drugs can reduce gastric acid secretion, and some drugs will apply a protective film such as aluminum salts or proteins to the ulcer surface; drugs that can damage the gastric mucosa such as aspirin, indomethacin, and phenylbutazone should be banned.

Recommended foods and how to eat them

1. Spirulina After eating spirulina, it can quickly break down into fine particles, which adhere closely to the mucosa of the stomach and duodenum to form a protective film, thereby promoting mucosal regeneration, repairing damaged mucosa and making the stomach feel more comfortable.

2. Phospholipids Phospholipids can promote cell activation and tissue regeneration and repair.

How to eat

Mild ulcer: Take 4 capsules of Spirulina, 4 capsules of phospholipids and 1 packet of high-quality protein every morning. Consume the above foods once for 60 consecutive days.

Severe ulcers: Take 5 to 10 capsules of Spirulina and 5 to 15 capsules of phospholipids daily, divided into two portions a day. Take the above foods continuously for 90 to 180 days.
