Why does my chest keep hurting? You should know these reasons

What is the cause of chest pain? This is a question many people want to know, and chest pain is also very common in clinical practice. Chest pain is generally not ruled out as normal pain caused by menstruation. Long-term pain may be caused by breast diseases, such as breast hyperplasia.

1. Breast pain may occur before menstruation and when pregnancy begins. Therefore, it is inaccurate to judge pregnancy based on breast pain alone. Early pregnancy test strips and blood hcg tests are the most accurate. If you have sex during ovulation, menstruation is delayed and breast pain occurs, then you may be pregnant. You can use early pregnancy test strips to test yourself to know whether you are pregnant or not.

2. Breast pain may be caused by breast hyperplasia. Breast hyperplasia often presents as pain or tingling, which may affect one or both breasts, with one side being more severe. Those with severe pain should not touch the breast, and it may even affect their daily life and work. The pain may radiate to the ipsilateral armpit or shoulder and back; some may manifest as nipple pain or itching. Breast pain often occurs or worsens a few days before menstruation and is significantly relieved or disappears after menstruation. The pain may also fluctuate with mood changes, fatigue, and weather changes. This pain related to the menstrual cycle and emotional changes is the main feature of the clinical manifestations of hyperplasia of the breast.

3. It is recommended to first check whether there is lung infection, pleurisy, tuberculosis, pneumothorax, and also consider whether there is intercostal neuritis and costochondritis. Sometimes, it is also necessary to pay attention to the fact that digestive tract ulcers and pancreatic diseases may also cause this phenomenon. Also pay attention to check whether there are problems with liver and gallbladder B-ultrasound and liver function. Also do an electrocardiogram to check whether there is a possibility of myocardial ischemia.
