What are the symptoms of Achilles tendinitis?

If Achilles tendonitis occurs, you must pay attention to reasonable and effective treatment and solutions, especially when you find these symptoms, such as dull pain or pain, as well as touching and slight swelling of the Achilles tendon, and there will be a creaking sound during exercise or activities.

1. Symptoms: When running, the gastrocnemius muscles in the foot contract to lift the heel and the front half of the foot touches the ground. The Achilles tendon is subjected to repeated violent impacts, especially when athletes have to push themselves to the limit every day. This can cause an inflammatory response over the long term and lead to Achilles tendinitis.

2. Symptoms: The heel is too soft, the heel is unstable in the shoe, and the heel moves too much, which will lead to instability and excessive burden on the Achilles tendon attachment point; the sole is too hard, and the first metatarsophalangeal joint between the toes and the sole cannot bend; the shoe is too big, and the toes will be bent when jumping.

3. Symptoms: Sometimes athletes make incorrect movements during training, such as excessive inward or outward rotation of the toes when hitting the ball at the net, and unstable ankle joints when landing after jumping, which can easily lead to Achilles tendonitis. In addition, due to long-term and excessive training, many officers and soldiers will feel "foot pain", which is also caused by Achilles tendonitis.

4. Symptoms: Dull pain or pain when you walk or stand on tiptoe. The Achilles tendon is tender and slightly swollen. When you touch or move the Achilles tendon, you may hear a "snap" or "crunch" sound.

5. Stiffness in the ankle joint, which gradually eases as the Achilles tendon becomes more active. Swelling of the ankle and heel, tenderness 5 cm from the Achilles tendon’s upper attachment point on the calcaneus, most obvious when getting up in the morning
