Pain below the left shoulder blade is a symptom that many people experience in daily life. It is mostly caused by periarthritis of the shoulder, which has a great impact on people's normal life and work. So what should people do when they experience pain below the left shoulder blade? In fact, there are four ways to relieve the symptoms. The first method is to use Western medicine. 1. What to do if you have pain below the left shoulder blade (1) Western medicine treatment: You can take indomethacin, vitamin B1 or other drugs with anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects. At present, there is no specific effective drug. (2) Treatment with Chinese medicine: Early use of Chinese medicine that can dredge the meridians, activate blood circulation, unblock the collaterals and relieve pain, combined with acupuncture, massage and functional exercise, has a good therapeutic effect. (3) Acupuncture treatment: Select the Jianneiling, Jianguyu, Jianzhen, Jianyu, Tianzong and other acupoints and perform the tonifying method or the balanced tonifying and draining method once a day. Alternatively, select the Tiaokou acupoint and perform the draining method, combined with the tonifying method at Tianzong and Jianzhen acupoints, combined with hot compress, cupping or warm acupuncture, for better results. (4) Massage therapy: Use the thumb or middle finger to massage the Jian Nei Ling, Jian Gu Yu, Tian Zong, Jian Zhen and other acupoints for two minutes each; and use pinching, rubbing, shaking and other techniques in combination with shoulder joint movement therapy for treatment. Second, patients with periarthritis of shoulder should pay attention to the following points in nursing: (1) Keep your shoulders warm and avoid getting cold. (2) Regular and appropriate exercise, such as soft gymnastics, Tai Chi, Ba Duan Jin, etc., can not only promote local blood circulation, but also strengthen the function of the shoulder joint capsule and the soft tissue around the joint, thereby preventing or reducing the aggravation of periarthritis of the shoulder. (3) After the occurrence of periarthritis of the shoulder, the most important thing is to perform active and passive shoulder joint functional exercises on the affected side as soon as possible, such as bending over, swinging the arms, rotating, climbing the wall upright, climbing the wall sideways, pulling a pulley, etc. (4) Be willing to endure the pain and keep exercising. Whether it is active or passive movement, the patient will feel pain, and the recovery of shoulder function will not be fast, but as long as he persists, he can recover. If the shoulder joint is not used for a long time due to fear of pain, the shoulder muscles, especially the deltoid muscle, will atrophy, which is not conducive to the recovery of the normal function of the shoulder joint. (5) For patients with periarthritis of the shoulder caused by fracture, appropriate manual treatment should be performed only after the fracture has completely healed. (6) Patients with high blood pressure or heart disease should avoid exerting too much force and should proceed with caution. |
