What should I do if my feet are cracked?

If the cracks on the soles of the feet are serious, the pain will be quite great, so it is recommended that these friends should soak the affected area in warm water to soften the skin cuticles, and then apply cod liver oil ointment or vaseline to effectively improve the symptoms of cracks on the soles of the feet.

1. Soak the affected area in warm water for 20 minutes to soften the skin cuticle. After drying, immediately apply cod liver oil ointment, tannic acid ointment or urea cream, etc. Then wrap the affected area with a small piece of plastic wrap and secure it with adhesive tape. If you act quickly, the cracks will seal up the next day.

2. Soak the wound in warm water and then apply the tape directly. Remove it after 24 hours. The tape should not be applied for too long, not more than 48 hours, otherwise it will cause the crack to deepen and even cause secondary infection.

3. To prevent and treat skin cracks, you should also pay attention to dietary nutrition. Vitamin A can promote epithelial growth and resist hyperkeratosis. Eating it in moderation can help wound healing. Foods rich in vitamin A include carrots, beans, green leafy vegetables, fish, liver, milk, etc. In addition, you can eat more fat and sugary foods to increase the secretion of sebaceous glands and avoid skin cracking. At the same time, pay special attention to keeping your hands warm.

4. Potato therapy: Boil a potato, peel and mash it, add a little Vaseline, mix well, and put it in a bottle. When your hands and feet are chapped, apply a small amount to the cracked areas 1-3 times a day. You will see results in a few days.

5. Honey therapy: When your hands and feet are chapped in winter, first soak the affected area with hot water, then apply honey, twice a day, and it will heal after a few days of continuous use.

6. Tea therapy: Chew the tea leaves into pieces, apply them to the affected area, wrap them with gauze or adhesive tape, and the cracks will heal quickly.

7. Analgesic plaster therapy: Soak your chapped hands and feet in hot tea for 20 minutes before going to bed at night. After the cracked skin becomes soft, wipe off the water and apply analgesic plaster. It will heal in 2-3 days.
