What happens when I want to defecate but can’t?

Always wanting to defecate but being unable to do so can be said to be the most typical symptom of constipation. There are many reasons that cause constipation, some of which are caused by bad eating habits. Therefore, if you want to improve it effectively, you should pay attention to a scientific diet and eat more fresh vegetables and fruits.

1. Constipation is a rather complicated problem. There are many inducing factors and many hidden dangers to human health. So why do you want to defecate but can’t? When people's bowel movements become less and less frequent, and their stools are dry and hard, and they have to strain when defecating, it means they are constipated. If it is not treated promptly and correctly, it will develop into chronic constipation over six months, which will be accompanied by many other diseases.

2. It is very important to find out as soon as possible why you want to defecate but cannot. Generally speaking, there are two main causes of constipation: one is organic reasons, and the other is functional reasons. If there is organic lesion in the intestine, infection by bacteria, or tumor growth, it will hinder the smooth flow of bowel movements. Moreover, the lesions of the rectum and anorectum cannot be ignored. For example, hemorrhoids and rectal prolapse are common causes.

3. When you want to defecate but can’t, you also need to consider various bad living habits. If you drink too little water, lack vitamins, and eat spicy and irritating foods for a long time, there will be too little water in your body, which will cause dry stools that cannot be excreted normally. Increased work pressure and the influence of mental factors can often lead to constipation. Once you know why you want to defecate but can't, you need targeted conditioning and treatment.
