What causes pain under breast?

Women's breasts are very important to women, so many female friends are very concerned about their breasts. So what causes pain under the breast? Most women don't quite understand this. In fact, there are many reasons for pain under the breast. The first reason is disease infection.

1. Disease infection

If there is sudden, persistent, and severe breast pain accompanied by obvious tenderness, it may be an acute infectious disease of the breast.

2. Local suppuration

If there is throbbing pain in the local area, it is likely that the local area has become purulent.

3. Proliferative lesions

If breast pain is paroxysmal, and often begins before menstruation or worsens before menstruation, and is relieved or disappears after menstruation, and the pain is distending or stabbing, sometimes involving the ipsilateral armpit or shoulder and back, and there is mild to moderate local tenderness, then it is considered to be a proliferative lesion.

4. Causes of Trauma

Sometimes breastfeeding women often experience severe nipple pain, nipple breakage and cracking, which are mostly caused by the baby sucking and biting the nipple.

5. Relieve pain

Apply a hot water towel to your breasts for three to five minutes every morning and evening. Start massaging along the skin behind the areola, avoiding the areola and nipple, and continue massaging towards the sternum. Do it twice a day for three to five minutes each time. This can also help unclog your mammary glands and prevent breast sagging.

6. Pay attention to your diet

Women who suffer from breast pain should first pay attention to preventing obesity. For obese women, losing weight will help relieve breast swelling and pain. It is also best to stay away from coffee, because will caffeine cause breast discomfort? Although it has not been confirmed yet, medical surveys have found that many women with breast pain and other benign symptoms have significant improvement in symptoms after quitting caffeine. Therefore, you have to give up coffee completely, which means you have to completely give up soda, chocolate, ice cream, tea, and caffeinated painkillers.

No matter what the cause of the pain under the breast, it should be taken seriously, especially for young women. Never avoid going to the hospital for examination because you are embarrassed. You should know that pain may be an external symptom of a certain disease in the body, and it means that the condition is already serious. It suggests that you should receive treatment, otherwise it will cause more serious consequences and affect your health.
