What causes difficulty in defecation?

The most common cause of difficulty in defecation is constipation. People of all ages may be affected by constipation. Some may have constipation caused by excess heat, some may have constipation caused by qi deficiency, and some may have constipation caused by damp heat, all of which will affect defecation.

1. Constipation due to excess heat, symptoms: easy to get inflamed, oral ulcers, dryness and heat, and dry and hard stools.

Ingredients: 6 grams of hemp seed, 6 grams of cassia seed, and an appropriate amount of rock sugar. Take it after cooking. It can effectively nourish yin, moisten dryness, reduce fire and detoxify, and promote bowel movement. Take it twice a day, morning and evening respectively.

2. Damp-heat type constipation. Symptoms: sticky stools that are difficult to wipe clean, black in color, frequent but small in amount. Symptoms of acne and bad breath.

Ingredients: 50 grams of kelp and 20 grams of mung beans. Soak for two hours and then cook them in a pot. Drink directly, two bowls a day, breakfast and lunch. It can effectively clear away dampness and heat, and promote detoxification and bowel movements.

3. Symptoms of Qi deficiency type constipation: weak bowel movements, easy sweating and fatigue, and few words due to Qi deficiency. It is mostly seen in middle-aged and elderly people, weak women, and people who have just recovered from a serious illness.

Ingredients: 10 grams of Astragalus, 50 grams of Perilla seed, 50 grams of polished rice. Cook into porridge and drink it three times a day, one bowl before meals. It can effectively improve constipation caused by Qi deficiency.

4. Blood deficiency type constipation, symptoms: dizziness, pale complexion, easy fatigue and weakness

Ingredients: 50 grams of black fungus, 2 chopped sea cucumbers and put them into the pot, 20 red dates. Taking them after cooking them together can effectively nourish yin and blood, and improve constipation caused by blood deficiency.

5. Intestinal emptying type constipation, symptoms: poor appetite, eating less food, nothing tastes good. This type of phenomenon is generally caused by spleen deficiency, and proper Chinese medicine to regulate the spleen and stomach can effectively improve it.

Ingredients: 50 grams of Chinese yam and 20 grams of fried millet. Cook them together and take two bowls a day. It can effectively regulate the function of the spleen and stomach and improve constipation caused by spleen deficiency.
