Young people who stay up late for a long time, be careful of a malignant tumor

The lymphatic cancer that people often talk about refers to malignant lymphoma, which is divided into Hodgkin's lymphoma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Although malignant lymphoma is not the most common tumor, its incidence is increasing at an alarming rate. It is increasing at a rate of 5% per year and has ranked 8th among common malignant tumors. There are approximately 84,000 new cases and more than 47,000 deaths each year. We found that some young people unfortunately suffered from lymphoma, and some were diagnosed in the late stage.

Why is lymphoma becoming younger?

The lymphatic system is a very important immune tissue in the human body, but in young and middle-aged people, the lymphatic system is in a very active state. In this state, relatively more patients develop tumors, especially Hodgkin's lymphoma, which is more common in young and middle-aged people. Office white-collar workers not only bear huge work pressure, but also need to work overtime frequently. Some people frequently stay up late to work overtime and are exposed to electronic radiation or radioactive environments for a long time, which causes obvious and serious physical overdraft, long-term excessive fatigue and decreased immune function. As one's own immunity weakens, the chance of being infected with a virus increases, so lymphoma is more likely to "take advantage of the situation."

Currently, the incidence of lymphoma in Shanghai is higher than the national average, at approximately 10-11/100,000, which is close to the Western level. The incidence of lymphoma is higher among people in developed areas, which is to some extent closely related to the modern lifestyle. The pace of work is accelerating and the work pressure is too high. If young and middle-aged people cannot release the psychological pressure in time, it may induce disease.

According to the results of epidemiological surveys and studies, the occurrence of malignant lymphoma is related to race, genes, living environment, and family tendency. Studies have shown that the occurrence of malignant lymphoma may be related to viral infection, and the incidence of malignant lymphoma increases in people with immunodeficiency.

How to detect lymphoma early?

Lymphoma is very hidden and difficult to detect in the early clinical stages. Many times, patients confuse symptoms such as fever with colds. Therefore, many people, like Luo Jing, are diagnosed in the late stages. Therefore, it is important to learn some self-examination methods so that you can get early diagnosis and treatment when you find any abnormal conditions.

1. I found that my lymph nodes in my neck were swollen. At first, only one of them was swollen, but then the number and size of the nodes gradually increased. Subsequently, the axillary and inguinal lymph nodes also began to swell.

2. You feel that you often have a fever and suddenly lose weight. Your weight does not change much at ordinary times. When various prerequisites such as diet remain unchanged, your weight suddenly decreases in a short period of time and your body becomes thin.

3. Symptoms similar to a cold, such as fever, sweating, cough, shortness of breath, itchy skin, etc., occur more than twice in a month, and the condition does not improve after taking cold medicine, or even recurs.

4. Found frequent headaches, dizziness, or changes in neurological symptoms such as vision and hearing.

When you find that any of the above four situations occur, you must pay great attention and go to the hospital for examination as soon as possible to confirm whether it is lymphoma so that it can be detected and treated early.

How to Prevent Lymphoma

To this end, prevention of lymphoma should start with developing good living habits, such as: do not stay up late for a long time, maintain a good attitude and actively respond to stress, and strengthen daily physical exercise to enhance physical fitness; eat more green and healthy food.
