Why does vaginal bleeding occur? The reasons are these

The female body is relatively complex, especially gynecological issues, which are even more complex and easy to confuse. Just like vaginal bleeding is probably not caused by the menstrual cycle, but is related to some gynecological diseases. This is why you need to have regular physical examinations to avoid gynecological diseases.

1. Abnormal development of the cervix:

Cervical dysplasia is a sign of cervical epithelial cell cancer. Having multiple sexual partners, becoming sexually active before age 18, becoming pregnant before age 16, or having a history of sexually transmitted diseases can increase the likelihood of abnormal cervical development.

2. Chlamydia infection:

The viral infection is usually transmitted through sexual intercourse and contact with sperm, vaginal fluids, or blood.

3. Uterine polyps:

Uterine polyps occur when the endometrium overgrows and causes the endometrium to extend into the uterus. Women with uterine polyps may experience bleeding between their periods. Other symptoms include: bleeding after intercourse, heavy menstrual bleeding, bleeding after menopause, and bleeding while taking hormonal medications.

4. Vaginitis or cervicitis:

It may be an inflammation of the vagina or cervix, a tumor, or a viral infection causing inflammation.

5. Cervical polyps:

A cervical polyp is a hairless, red or purple, finger-shaped growth on the endocervix, or lining of the cervix.

6. Trichomoniasis:

A sexually transmitted disease usually caused by a protozoan that can also be transmitted from an infected mother to her newborn during childbirth. Sometimes, the virus is spread from tap water, urine, toilet seats, and swimming pools.

7. Vaginal yeast infection:

Excessive yeast growth in the vagina. Symptoms usually include: vaginal itching, pain, odor, abnormal leucorrhea, etc.

8. Fibroma:

Generally speaking, fibroids are benign tumors. They are solid tumors that are fibrous. Only a small number of fibroids are malignant. There are many different symptoms of fibroids, and some women may not experience any symptoms. After menopause, when the secretion of female hormones stops, fibroids will automatically shrink and gradually disappear. But it is very important that women with fibroids must not take any medications containing estrogen, such as birth control pills. Because estrogen stimulates the growth of fibroids.
