If you suffer from hyperthyroidism, you must pay attention to active examinations and take timely response and treatment measures. Now the examinations for hyperthyroidism include serum free thyroid test and serum thyroxine test. Only correct examinations can detect the disease in time and take scientific treatment methods. 1. The basal metabolic rate (BMR) increases in hyperthyroidism, >15%, and increases or decreases in proportion to the severity of the hyperthyroidism. It can be measured by instrument or obtained by calculation. Calculation formula: resting pulse pressure - 111 - BMR%. 2. Blood cholesterol reduced by 100mg/L (760mmol/L). Blood creatine phosphokinase (CRK), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and aspartate aminotransferase (SGOT) were all elevated. 4. Peripheral blood cells should be >4.5×109/L and neutrophil polynuclear leukocytes should be >50% before antithyroid drugs can be used. 5. The thyroid gland's 131Ⅰ absorption rate increases, ranging from 9% to 55% in women within 6 hours. For men, it is 9% to 50%, and for 24 hours it is 20% to 45%. 3h: 5% to 25%. This test is affected by many drugs and iodine-containing foods, so these factors should be avoided 2 to 3 weeks before the test. 6. The normal value of plasma protein-bound iodine (PRI) is 0.3-0.63pmol/L, which increases in hyperthyroidism to >0.63pmol/L. 7. The normal value of thyroid hormone T3 is 950-205μg/L, the normal value of T4 is 60-14.8μg/L, and the resin uptake ratio (RUR) is 0.8-1.1. The free T4 index (FT4Ⅰ) is 9.6-16.3. FT3Ⅰ 6.0~11.4pmol/L, FT4 is 32.5±6.0pmol/L. They increase in hyperthyroidism. The normal value of rT3 is 0.2-0.8 μmol/L. It also increases in hyperthyroidism, and sometimes changes earlier than T3 and T4. 8. The normal value of TSH measured by radioimmunoassay is 3-10mU/L. It will be elevated in cases of pituitary hyperthyroidism. Generally, in cases of hyperthyroidism, TSH is at a normal level or decreased. 9. T3 suppression test is used to identify the nature of increased thyroid 131Ⅰ uptake. The method is to first measure the 131Ⅰ absorption value, then take T3 60μg/d (3 times/d) orally, and measure the 131Ⅰ absorption rate again after 6 days to compare the results. You can also take 60mg of thyroxine tablets orally, 3 times/d, and measure the 131Ⅰ absorption value again after 8 days to compare the results. The 131Ⅰ inhibition rate of the T3 suppression test in normal people and patients with simple goiter is >50%, and in hyperthyroidism, a positive result may be detected if the inhibition is 90%. |
