1. Weight loss: This is a common symptom in Parkinson's patients in the late stages. Symptoms may be caused by reduced food intake due to various complications, but sometimes the cause of weight loss is not clear. The patient's weight loss will not occur suddenly, but gradually, usually after several years. Of course, a small number of patients will experience symptoms of weight loss within a few months or even weeks.

Ninety percent of patients have scores below the normal range for distinguishing different odors in olfactory discrimination tests, and 75 percent of patients have decreased sensitivity to the acute olfactory threshold.

3. Drooling: Many patients will experience drooling in the late stages of the disease. The main reason is that the patient's lips cannot be completely closed due to the impact of the disease.

4. Emotional and intellectual changes: Patients may also experience emotional and intellectual changes in the late stages, mainly manifested as long-term low mood or slowly occurring symptoms of intellectual decline.
