Coughing up blood due to lung cancer actually indicates this

Lung cancer is one of the more common cancers in the human body. Coughing up blood is a common symptom after suffering from lung cancer. Generally speaking, long-term and heavy smoking or alcoholism can easily lead to lung cancer and cause symptoms of coughing up blood. Coughing up blood is a manifestation of a more serious condition, which is generally caused by rising lung qi.

Coughing up blood is a common symptom of lung cancer. Except for a few cases of lung cancer with severe coughing up blood, the amount of blood coughed up is generally small. It often appears in the early and middle stages of the disease, with a small amount of blood, bright red in texture or mixed with foam. Pneumonia hemoptysis often recurs and can last throughout the entire course of the disease, so it is of great clinical significance for the treatment of lung cancer. 31.6% to 58.5% of lung cancer patients have symptoms of coughing up blood, and about 40% of lung cancer patients seek medical treatment with coughing up blood as the first symptom.

(Traditional Chinese Medicine) The reason for coughing up blood due to lung cancer is that the lung network is injured, causing blood to come out of the lungs through the airway and be coughed out. The blood may be pure bright red, or it may be a mixture of phlegm and blood, or there may be blood in the phlegm. Also known as coughing up blood and hemoptysis. External evil attacking the lungs, phlegm and blood stasis blocking the lungs, liver fire invading the lungs, lung and kidney yin deficiency, qi deficiency and other causes all lead to damage to the lung network, upward flow of lung qi, and blood overflowing into the airways.

Generally, coughing up blood due to external factors has a short course and an acute onset, with symptoms such as fever and chills at the onset; coughing up blood due to internal factors has a slow onset and a long course, and both have manifestations of deficiency or excess of yin and yang of the internal organs, qi and blood.

(Western medicine) The reason for coughing up blood due to lung cancer is that the tumor blocks the passage of gas and stimulates the bronchial wall, making the bronchial wall have a reaction of wanting to expel foreign objects, thus causing coughing. Sometimes the coughed up sputum contains blood, which is what we call coughing up blood. The blood coughed up by lung cancer patients usually comes from the bronchi or alveoli, and the coughed up blood does not contain food residues. If it contains food residues, it may be vomiting blood rather than coughing up blood. When there is a tumor in the lungs, it will cause local inflammation of the lung tissue, increase the permeability of the capillaries, and blood will flow into the respiratory tract; or the tumor will compress the microvessels and cause the blood vessels to rupture, which will also cause coughing up blood.

Coughing up blood is one of the clinical manifestations of many diseases. In addition to lung cancer, other possible diseases include bronchitis, pneumonia, lung abscess, tuberculosis, bronchiectasis, etc.

What color is the blood in lung cancer cough?

Deep red or dark black

1. Cough is the most common symptom, and patients experience unexplained dry cough, choking cough, etc.

2. Chest pain is a symptom that occurs in more than half of the patients. When the lung cancer mass is located near the pleura, irregular dull pain is likely to occur. When the ribs and spine are invaded by lung cancer, there may also be persistent chest pain and fixed-point tenderness. When the lung cancer mass compresses the intercostal nerves, the chest pain is located in the area where the nerves run. When the mediastinal lymph nodes are invaded by lung cancer, deep pain behind the sternum may occur. Blood in sputum is often accompanied by irregular and intermittent chest pain.

3. Cancer fever occurs in some patients. It is caused by toxins produced by lung cancer tumor necrosis and often occurs in the later stage after extensive metastasis.

The early symptoms of lung cancer often do not attract the attention of patients, and medical treatment may not necessarily lead to a confirmed diagnosis, so patients are less likely to take precautions. It is recommended that when early symptoms of lung cancer appear, according to the doctor's guidance, take anti-cancer Chinese medicine containing 16% ginsenoside Rh2 (Hu Ming Su) and other drugs that inhibit the growth of cancer cells to strengthen the control of lung cancer cells and reduce their growth and spread.
