What are the symptoms of liver patients

Liver disease generally refers to abnormalities in the liver. The clinical definition of the disease is very broad, with many types of classifications. Fatty liver disease and alcoholic liver disease are both types of liver disease. Different types of liver disease manifest different symptoms, and the treatment of liver disease mainly relies on the right medicine for the right disease, so it is important to distinguish the type of disease. So what are the symptoms of liver disease patients?

1. Hepatitis B virus:

Hepatitis B is a disease caused by hepatitis B virus (HBV), characterized by inflammatory lesions of the liver and can cause multi-organ damage. Hepatitis B is widely prevalent in countries around the world, mainly affecting children and young adults. A small number of patients may develop cirrhosis or liver cancer. Therefore, it has become a global disease that seriously threatens human health, and is also the most widespread and most harmful disease in my country. Hepatitis B does not have a specific epidemic period and can occur throughout the year, but most cases are sporadic. In recent years, the incidence of hepatitis B has shown a clear increasing trend.

2. Cirrhosis:

Cirrhosis is a common chronic progressive liver disease in clinical practice, which is diffuse liver damage caused by the long-term or repeated effects of one or more causes. In my country, most cases are post-hepatitis cirrhosis, and a small number are alcoholic cirrhosis and schistosomiasis cirrhosis. Pathologically, there is extensive hepatocyte necrosis, nodular regeneration of residual hepatocytes, connective tissue hyperplasia and fibrous septum formation, which lead to destruction of the hepatic lobule structure and formation of pseudolobules. The liver gradually deforms and hardens and develops into cirrhosis. In the early stage, there may be no obvious symptoms due to the strong compensatory function of the liver. In the later stage, liver function damage and portal hypertension are the main manifestations, and multiple systems are affected. In the late stage, complications such as upper gastrointestinal bleeding, hepatic encephalopathy, secondary infection, hypersplenism, ascites, and cancer often occur.

3. Fatty Liver:

Fatty liver refers to a disease caused by excessive accumulation of fat in liver cells due to various reasons. Fatty liver disease is seriously threatening the health of the Chinese people and has become the second largest liver disease after viral hepatitis. It has been recognized as a common cause of latent cirrhosis. Fatty liver is a common clinical phenomenon rather than an independent disease. The clinical manifestations are asymptomatic in mild cases and severe in severe cases. Generally speaking, fatty liver is a reversible disease, and early diagnosis and timely treatment can often restore to normal.

4. Alcoholic liver disease:

Alcoholic fatty liver Alcoholic liver is the abbreviation of alcoholic liver disease. It is estimated that there are about 15 million to 20 million alcoholics in the world, and 10% to 20% of these people (1.5 million to 4 million) have alcoholic liver disease to varying degrees. There may be no symptoms in the early stages of alcoholic liver disease, but pathological changes have already occurred in the liver's internal tissues. Alcoholic liver disease can be mainly divided into three categories, namely alcoholic fatty liver, alcoholic hepatitis and alcoholic cirrhosis. These three forms can exist alone or in combination.
