What are the early symptoms of angina pectoris

Angina pectoris is a relatively common heart disease, which is very harmful to patients and may even threaten their lives. Some patients with angina pectoris will show certain symptoms in the early stages of the disease. You must be vigilant when such symptoms occur. For example, you may feel a tightness in your heart, often feeling that your chest is being squeezed and there is a feeling of suffocation, and sometimes it may cause abdominal pain and stomach cramps.

First, the feeling is a sense of tightening

When angina pectoris occurs, the patient feels a sense of tightness, as if the chest is being squeezed hard or a heavy object is pressing on the chest, which is particularly uncomfortable.

Secondly, the feeling of suffocation,

The second feeling of angina pectoris is suffocation and difficulty breathing because the chest feels squeezed or heavy.

Third, accelerated heartbeat, cold hands and feet

If the attack occurs during sleep, one will feel as if he or she is having a nightmare. After waking up, the person will experience symptoms such as accelerated heartbeat, cold hands and feet, pale face, and profuse sweating.

4. Abdominal pain, stomach pain, stomach cramps

Many people will subconsciously take deep breaths when they experience symptoms such as abdominal pain, stomach pain, and stomach cramps, because deep breathing can relieve the pain caused by these symptoms. However, the symptoms of angina pectoris will not be alleviated or aggravated by changes in breathing or emotions, so this can also be used as a characteristic for judging angina pectoris.

Fifth, angina pectoris may also cause pain in the teeth, clavicle, and back.

There are many kinds of drugs for treating angina pectoris, the most commonly used are nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) and calcium channel blockers (such as hexinshuang). Nitroglycerin drugs relieve angina pectoris by relaxing vascular smooth muscle, especially the smooth muscle of small blood vessels, causing blood vessels to dilate. However, studies in recent years have found that although this type of drug can dilate blood vessels, it does not fundamentally improve vascular lesions. Moreover, the dilation is only temporary, so some patients still experience angina pectoris after taking the drug.
