These infectious skin diseases must be prevented!

Skin disease is a relatively common disease. It is mainly divided into two categories: one is non-contagious skin disease, and the other is contagious skin disease. For contagious skin diseases, we must do a good job of prevention and treatment in normal times, especially for ordinary people, we must avoid cross infection and avoid the threat of disease.

First, the cause

The skin disease is caused by an infection with the molluscum contagiosum virus. It mainly occurs in children, sexually active people, and people with weakened immune function. Most are acquired through infection, as it is a contagious disease. Direct skin-to-skin contact is the main mode of transmission, such as sexual transmission and transmission in public swimming pools.

Second, the prone area

The locations are slightly different for children and adults. In children, the disease is more common on the back of the hands, limbs, trunk and face, while in adults, it is more common on the genitals, buttocks, lower abdomen, pubic bone and some more hidden parts of the inner thighs. Therefore, you must take a bath and change clothes frequently to keep clean. If you find any skin abnormalities, you must seek treatment.

Third, the main performance

Skin diseases have an incubation period of about one week to half a year. The general symptoms are a 3-5 mm hemispherical rash, mostly gray or pearly in color, with a shiny surface and a depression in the middle. There are also cheese-like substances inside, which are actually molluscum bodies. The symptoms of skin diseases are relatively obvious, and there will be itching or tingling.

Fourth, treatment methods

Under sterile conditions, use blood forceps or curved vascular forceps to squeeze the molluscum, squeeze out the contents, and then add iodine to prevent bacterial infection. You can also use topical ointments, such as mupirocin ointment or fusidic acid ointment, applied daily. If the condition is serious, other treatments such as laser therapy and cryotherapy can be used. Please follow the doctor's advice.

Fifth, take preventive measures

We should take some preventive measures in our daily lives, such as trying not to go to public places, as there are more viruses in public places and they spread quickly. Also, do not share personal items with others and avoid direct contact with patients with skin diseases. At the same time, when you suffer from skin diseases, do not scratch your skin due to itching to prevent bacterial infection.

Skin disease is a relatively common infectious disease, but the chance of getting it is not very high, so as long as you take good measures in your daily life, you can stay away from skin diseases. For example, take a bath frequently, change clothes frequently, and keep your skin clean. Also, try not to wear other people's clothes casually and do not share personal belongings. When you suffer from a skin disease, do not scratch your skin. See a doctor promptly for medication or other treatments, and follow the doctor's instructions to stay away from skin diseases as soon as possible.
