What are the precautions for hyaluronic acid dissolving enzyme

The effects of hyaluronic acid dissolving enzyme and hyaluronic acid are exactly opposite. Hyaluronic acid dissolving enzyme is used as an antidote for hyaluronic acid and is often used to correct the imperfections caused by excessive treatment of hyaluronic acid. When using hyaluronic acid dissolving enzyme, you should be aware of some precautions, conduct skin tests, avoid allergic reactions, and also understand some contraindications.

1. How to use hyaluronidase

The concentration of one tube of hyaluronic acid enzyme is 1500U. There are generally multiple ways to dissolve it, depending on the specific situation. Some experts often use the following dissolution method: 1500IU (one bottle of hyaluronic acid enzyme) + 3ml of sodium chloride for injection → divided into 10 bottles → can dissolve 10ml of hyaluronic acid; the specific amount of enzyme injected is based on the amount of hyaluronic acid injected.

2. Specific ratio method of lytic enzyme

Take a bottle of lytic enzyme, draw about 3 ml of normal saline (NS) and inject it into the bottle to dissolve the dry powder, and refrigerate it for later use. Each time you use it, use a 1ml syringe to extract 0.3ml of the dissolved enzyme, and then add NS to 1ml. In this way, this 1ml of dissolving enzyme can basically dissolve 1ml of Vinos small molecules. However, for products with too high cross-linking, the concentration of the dissolving enzyme should be increased. But never use the original solution directly to dissolve, the concentration is too high. The specific dosage depends on the needs, but the single dosage should not exceed 1500u.

3. Lytic enzyme skin test

Take 0.02 ml of 150u/ml concentration of the drug solution and inject it intradermally. If a rash with pseudopodia appears within 5 minutes, lasts for 20-30 minutes, and there is an itchy sensation, it is a positive test. However, if a one-time erythema appears locally, it is caused by vasodilation and is not positive.

4. Precautions for the ratio of lytic enzyme

The prepared lysozyme is an extremely unstable aqueous solution and should be prepared just before use. The remaining solution can be stored at a temperature below 30 degrees for 2 weeks, but if there is discoloration or precipitation, it cannot be used again.

5. Treatment of excessive injection of lytic enzyme

Excessive injection can cause local edema and allergic symptoms: erythema, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, rapid heartbeat and decreased blood pressure, etc. The medication should be stopped promptly and supportive therapy should be adopted. First aid can be provided with epinephrine, corticosteroids and antihistamines.

6. Contraindications of hyaluronic acid dissolving enzyme

1. Hyaluronidase cannot be injected into the area where botulinum toxin has been injected within 48 hours, because hyaluronidase causes serious diffusion of botulinum toxin.

2. Avoid some acute and chronic diseases, as well as those who are taking oral medications, especially those with a history of allergies.

3. The interval between the injection of hyaluronic acid and the injection of hyaluronic acid after the injection of hyaluronic acid: Generally, a week is safer. In an emergency, the interval should be 72 hours. This is related to the absorption of the drug.
