Precautions for operation and use of infusion pump

1. Operation

1Fix the infusion pump on the infusion stand. Turn on the power.

2 Open the pump door, install the appropriate position of the infusion pipe at the lower end of the Moffitt dropper onto the clip of the infusion pump from top to bottom, close the pump door, and open the spiral clamp of the infusion set.

3 Turn on the power switch on the back of the infusion pump.

4Select the infusion pump, set the infusion volume, infusion flow rate and drip rate per minute.

5 Perform puncture according to the principles of aseptic operation. If puncture is successful, press the [Start Key] to start infusion.

6 After the infusion is completed, press the [Stop] button to stop the infusion.

7 Open the pump door, take out the infusion tube, and close the pump door.

8 Turn off the power switch and unplug the power plug.

2. Notes

1 Correctly set the infusion dosage and infusion flow rate.

2 When using an ordinary infusion set for infusion, the temperature should be ensured to be no lower than 17°C. If it is lower than 17°C, the infusion pump will give off an audible and visual alarm, the infusion set indicator light will flash and the infusion will stop.

3. Wipe the infusion pump regularly and keep it clean to prevent solidification from affecting the flexibility of mechanisms such as the door opening, and to prevent drugs from corroding the infusion pump. When cleaning with a damp clean cloth or alcohol cotton ball, do not allow liquid to flow into the infusion pump. The surface of the bubble probe must be kept clean to avoid reducing sensitivity.

4Protect the sensor. Do not block the sensor and bubble probe with your hands or instruments to avoid affecting the sensitivity and causing false alarms.

5. When the fuse is damaged, replace it according to the specifications. Be sure to unplug the power plug before replacing.
