Allergic dermatitis is a common disease at present, which usually occurs in people who are prone to allergies. The harm of allergic dermatitis is very large and it is very likely to affect people's bodies. Everyone should do a good job of prevention and care in daily life. Generally, allergic dermatitis is mostly caused by drugs, contact dermatitis, and eczema, including urticaria. In daily life, you should choose the appropriate method according to your physical condition, and find a suitable treatment plan according to the type of disease. Because allergic dermatitis can cause skin edema, the skin is often itchy and unbearable. Severe cases require auxiliary treatment with medication. Note that during the treatment period, do not eat foods that are prone to allergies, keep a light diet, and prevent the disease from continuing to worsen and bring adverse consequences to the body. (1) Drug rash Some drugs can cause allergic skin reactions, which are mainly manifested as skin erythema, purpura, blisters, epidermal relaxation, itching and pain, and sometimes accompanied by low fever. There is usually no pigmentation after the rash subsides. Allergies to western medicines are more common, such as allergies to penicillin, sulfonamides (such as SMZ), and analgin. Certain ingredients in traditional Chinese medicine can also act as allergens. Herbs that have been reported to cause allergic reactions include Houttuynia cordata, Brucea javanica, Radix Trichosanthis, borneol, and rhubarb. Chinese patent medicines such as Liushen Pills, Niuhuang Jiedu Tablets, Compound Angelica Injection, Danshen Shuxin Tablets, etc. After a drug rash occurs, the drug must be discontinued immediately. (2) Contact dermatitis refers to the local occurrence of erythema, edema, itching and pain after the skin comes into contact with a certain substance. In severe cases, blisters and peeling may occur. Substances that can cause contact dermatitis on the skin include jewelry, watch chains, glasses frames, sandals, synthetic fabrics, topical medications, chemicals, cosmetics, etc. Once you find the above symptoms, immediately look for the items that cause allergies and stop contacting them. People who are prone to contact dermatitis are mostly allergic people. (3) Eczema has obvious exudation. In recent years, the incidence of eczema has been on the rise, which is related to factors such as the abuse of chemical products, environmental pollution, poor management of the three wastes, the accelerated pace of life, and increased mental stress. Characteristics of the disease: A. The disease can occur at any age; B. It can occur anywhere on the body surface; C. Recurrent attacks; D. Erythema, papules, blisters, erosions, exudation, scabs, desquamation, and pigmentation can be seen locally or systemically; E. Severe itching. 4) Urticaria (wheals, urticaria) Definition: A vascular neurological reaction of the body to various stimuli on the skin (small blood vessels in the subcutaneous tissue dilate, the permeability of the vessel wall increases, exudation occurs, and local edema forms). Causes: 1. External contact with cold, heat, sunlight and other stimuli; mosquito and insect bites; plants such as nettle and lacquer tree; 2. Internal contact with toxins produced by fish, shrimp, seafood, mushrooms, sulfonamides, salicylic acid, penicillin, serum, and parasites; 3. Psychoneural menstrual disorders, mental stress, fatigue, depression, etc.; 4. Family history (inheritance of allergic constitution). Symptoms: Sudden severe itching or burning sensation on the skin. Second rash: Localized, lumpy edematous wheals of varying sizes quickly appear on the affected area, ranging from the size of a grain of rice to the size of a palm, and most commonly the size of a fingernail to a coin, slightly higher than the surrounding skin. (5) Dermatographism: The skin is itchy and scratches leave scars. In severe cases, the disease will occur without scratching, but with the slightest contact with hard objects, and the symptoms are the same as urticaria. Warm reminder: The two types of penetrating ultraviolet rays, UVA and UVB in the sun, can directly reach the dermis of the skin, causing redness, burning, heat and pain on the bodies of people with allergies. This is what is commonly referred to in medicine as solar dermatitis, or ultraviolet allergy. At the same time, ultraviolet radiation can also cause a sharp increase in the "health killer" - free radicals in the body, causing wrinkles, pigmentation, cell damage, and even changes in the immune system, resulting in more serious phototoxicity and photoallergic reactions. Conventional UV protection measures include the use of sunscreen and UV-proof parasols. Sunscreen can only block part of UVA and is not very effective against UVB, while UV-proof parasols are completely powerless against UV rays reflected from the ground and walls. Experts point out that people with solar dermatitis and ultraviolet allergy must receive internal treatment. |
