The soles of my feet get hot in summer

The weather is very hot in summer and the whole body will feel hot, but some people feel that the soles of their feet are more obviously hot, and the temperature is different from other parts of the body. People with hot soles of the feet find it painful to wear shoes and socks, and they often sweat easily and feel uncomfortable when walking. There are actually certain factors that cause hot soles of the feet, such as the following problems.

It is very rare for the palms and soles to be hot without other symptoms. In the vast majority of cases, hot palms and soles are accompanied by other symptoms that are not noticed or are considered normal. Traditional Chinese medicine divides fever in the palms and soles of the feet into two types: malnutrition and spleen deficiency and blood deficiency and yin deficiency.

1. Malnutrition and spleen deficiency, fever in the palms and soles

One of the reasons is improper diet, that is, some people eat without restraint, eat at irregular times, and often eat snacks. In the long run, it can damage the spleen and stomach functions, cause abnormal metabolism, and form stagnation. With prolonged stagnation, the essence of water and grain cannot be absorbed, forming malnutrition and fever.

The second is that after suffering from other diseases, such as vomiting, diarrhea, dysentery, parasitic diseases, etc., if they are not treated properly for a long time, they will damage the qi and blood, leading to malnutrition and the formation of malnutrition and fever. Common symptoms in this area include hot palms and soles, sallow and thin face, dry hair, bloated abdomen, poor appetite, frequent ingestion of foreign objects, restless sleep at night, loose stools, undigested food, and yellow and turbid urine like rice water.

2. Blood deficiency and Yin deficiency, fever in hands and feet

The reasons are mostly due to weak constitution, or lack of conditioning after a serious illness or fever, resulting in damage to yin and blood, and failure to restore vital energy. This part is often manifested as hot palms and soles, weight loss, mental depression, cough with little sputum, dizziness and tinnitus, dry mouth and tongue, hot flashes in the afternoon, red cheeks and night sweats, frequent urination, and constipation.

Fever in the palms and soles is most common due to malnutrition and spleen deficiency, and most of the cases occur in infants under 3 years old.

While taking medication, you should also pay attention to supplementing a certain amount of nutritious food, getting more sun exposure, and breathing fresh air to promote physical recovery.
