Can you still eat expired white vinegar?

Anyone who has observed carefully or has life experience will know that the shelf life of kitchen supplies is generally very long, so some kitchen supplies often expire inadvertently. Condiments such as white vinegar and soy sauce must not be eaten after they expire. Frugal people may think it’s a pity to throw away expired white vinegar, but in fact it can be used in some aspects of life. Here are some tips on using expired white vinegar.

1. Paint on glass

After softening it with vinegar, the bright spots can be removed by wiping it; after washing silk products, soak them in clean water with a small amount of vinegar for a few minutes, and let them dry to make them as shiny as new; for polished areas of woolen clothes, wipe them with 50% concentration of vinegar water, then use a damp cloth to iron them, and the bright spots will disappear.

2. Disinfection and sterilization effect

Cold dishes mixed with vinegar are hygienic and refreshing; steaming the room with vinegar can kill bacteria and prevent influenza; washing your hair with a 40% vinegar solution every day after heating can prevent and treat hair loss and excessive dandruff; mixing lime powder with vinegar and applying it to the armpits twice a day can treat body odor.

3. Nutritional Hairdressing

After washing your hair with a neutral shampoo, pour 2 tablespoons of white vinegar into warm water and stir well. Rinse your hair and rinse with clean water after 20 minutes. This will make your hair soft, shiny, black and beautiful.

4. Reduce wrinkles

After washing your face every night, mix one spoon of white vinegar with three spoons of warm water. Then, dip a cotton ball into the product and gently wipe the wrinkles on your face, massaging gently with your fingers. After you are done, just rinse it with clean water. Long-term use can help eliminate wrinkles.

5. Shoeshine

When polishing leather shoes, adding a drop of vinegar can make them shiny and long-lasting. When copper and aluminum utensils are worn out, rub them with vinegar and then wash them to restore their luster. 20 minutes before slaughtering chickens and ducks, feed them a tablespoon of vinegar and plucking their feathers will become easy.
