The role of branched-chain amino acids

The role of branched-chain amino acids

Branched-chain amino acids are further divided into leucine, isoleucine and valine. This amino acid can promote muscle growth and anabolism. It also plays a good role in the release of insulin. It is very effective in reducing fat and providing the body with necessary nutrients. Research has found that branched-chain amino acids can prolong human life, so it is necessary to properly supplement branched-chain amino acid supplements.

Extended lifespan

Scientists have discovered a drug that can extend life and have tested it on mice with first-time success. This magical drug is a mixture of three amino acids: leucine, isoleucine and valine, and its scientific name is "branched-chain amino acids".

Effects

1. How many times have you gone to the gym to work out and your attention was drawn to the supplements on the shelves that claim to increase weight and muscle by supplementing amino acids? How many times have you been discouraged by the high cost? At the same time, you know that experts recommend a moderate carbohydrate and high protein intake is best. However, almost all of us know those who have developed muscles and strong physiques who rely on amino acid supplements.

2. Branched-chain amino acid supplements, commonly known as BCAAs, have become very popular in recent years among athletes who want to increase lean body mass and athletic performance. Branched-chain amino acids include valine, leucine, and isoleucine. It is generally believed that branched-chain amino acids can enter the brain through the bloodstream and reduce the production of serotonin in the brain, which can make people feel tired. Mental fatigue can be reduced by reducing the level of serotonin. There is now a considerable amount of scientific research supporting this theory.

3. When you want to train a stronger and more powerful body, it is necessary to stimulate and energy your muscles at the cellular level. Branched-chain amino acids (valine, leucine, isoleucine) make up almost 1/3 of muscle protein. BCAAs slow muscle fatigue, speed up recovery, reduce the loss of other amino acids from muscles during exercise, and help the body absorb protein. A deficiency in any one of these three will lead to muscle loss. Unlike other amino acids, BCAAs are metabolized in the muscles, not in the liver.

4. Branched-chain amino acids compete with each other in terms of absorption capacity, so they must be supplemented at the same time to ensure maximum absorption. The consumption of branched-chain amino acids in muscles is also very fast during training. Supplementing branched-chain amino acids before and/or during exercise can improve athletic ability and delay fatigue. Taking BCAAs immediately after exercise or with a meal after exercise can reduce cortisol and quickly restore BCAA levels in muscles.
