What is the effective method to kill bacterial spores?

The reason why most people get sick is due to bacterial infection, so people always want to find ways to kill it. They can't always carry this substance in their bodies, and this pesticide is very toxic, so if it appears, it must be treated in time. In this way, it is possible to alleviate the situation to a certain extent, kill the bacterial spores in the body, and make the body healthier.

Bacterial spores are the most resistant life forms in the entire biological world. Whether the spores can be eliminated is the most important indicator for measuring various disinfection and sterilization methods. High-temperature intermittent sterilization can kill spores. The radiation sterilization method developed in recent years also mainly kills spores.

PS: Radiation sterilization is a method of killing microorganisms and spores using gamma rays emitted by radioactive isotopes. The radiation sterilization dose is generally 25000Gy (1Gy=1J/kg). This method has been included in the British Pharmacopoeia and the Japanese Pharmacopoeia. This method is suitable for the sterilization of heat-sensitive materials and preparations, and is commonly used for the sterilization of vitamins, antibiotics, hormones, biological products, Chinese medicinal materials and prescriptions, medical devices, pharmaceutical packaging materials and polymer materials. Its characteristics are that it does not increase the temperature of the product, has strong penetrating power and high sterilization efficiency; but the equipment cost is high, there are potential dangers to operators, and it may reduce the efficacy of certain drugs (especially solution-type) or produce toxic and fever-causing substances. Use ultraviolet radiation and ionizing radiation to kill microorganisms, such as killing microorganisms in the air or on the surface of objects. Ultraviolet rays raise the energy level of the inner electrons of the molecules or atoms of the irradiated object, but do not cause ionization. The strongest bactericidal power is at a wavelength of 265 to 266 nm.

Certain bacteria (Bacillus, Clostridium, a few cocci, etc.) form a round or oval, thick-walled, low-water-content, and highly resistant dormant body structure inside the cell in the late stage of their growth and development, which is called a spore.

The formation of spores is an extremely complex process, involving changes in morphological structure, chemical composition and other aspects.

The results of optical microscopy and electron microscopy observations show that the formation of spores structurally goes through the following stages: ① The nuclear material fuses into an axial filament (rod shape). ② In the center or one end of the cell, the cell membrane invaginate to form a septum that surrounds the nuclear material, producing a small cell. ③The small cells are surrounded by the original cell membrane and form forespores. The forespore is essentially a protoplast surrounded by two concentric membranes. When observing unstained living bacteria under an optical microscope, the forespore can be seen as a clear area that is clearly different from the rest of the bacteria. ④ The forespore is then surrounded by multiple membranes, such as the cortex, spore coat, etc., and finally becomes a mature spore and is released due to the dissolution of the cell wall.
