A large evergreen tree, 20-25 meters high, with a breast diameter of more than 2 meters, and a trunk with many branches and spread out; the crown expands into an umbrella shape; the bark does not peel off and has white latex; aerial roots grow out of the trunk and can hang down to the ground, standing straight like a pillar. Leaves are alternate, leathery, broadly obovate or obovate-oblong, 4-10 cm long, 2-5.5 cm wide, base cuneate or rounded, obtuse and shortly acuminate at apex, entire, glabrous on both sides, with 5-6 pairs of lateral veins, inconspicuous on the surface; petiole 7-15 mm long.
