Post-exposure preventive treatment : Wash thoroughly with 3%-5% soapy water or 0.1% chlorhexidine or clean water. When flushing deeper wounds, use a syringe to penetrate deep into the wound for irrigation and cleaning to ensure that it is comprehensive and thorough. Then disinfect with 75% ethanol and then apply concentrated iodine tincture. The sooner the local wound is treated, the better. Even if it is delayed for 1-2 days or even 3-4 days, local treatment should not be ignored.
