What is the quadruple therapy for gastric disease

Modern people are under great pressure in life, which has led to changes in the dietary structure of many people. Irregular diet, irregular time, overeating, drinking during meals, etc., all of which may cause gastric disease. Once gastric disease occurs, not only physical discomfort, nausea and vomiting, etc., but also a long treatment cycle. There are many types of gastric disease. If you have gastric disease, you must go to the hospital for examination and symptomatic treatment. Don't blindly take medicine on your own. So what is the dosage of quadruple therapy for gastric ulcer?

The quadruple therapy for gastric ulcer is: proton pump inhibitor + colloidal bismuth pectin + amoxicillin + clarithromycin 1. Proton pump inhibitor: omeprazole (or lansoprazole, pantoprazole) 20 mg, 2 times/day; 2. Bismuth pectin 150 mg, 3 times/day (or use Livzondel) 2 times/day; 3. Amoxicillin 0.5 (or metronidazole 0.5) 2 times/day; 4. Clarithromycin 0.5 2 times/day. Specific application should be under the guidance of a doctor.

H2 receptor antagonists are the main drugs for the treatment of ulcer disease and have a good therapeutic effect on DU. It can be treated with drugs such as cimetidine, ranitidine, and famotidine.

The common usage of cimetidine is: 200 mg, 3 times a day, 400 mg before bedtime; the healing rate is 70%~80% in 4 weeks, almost 100% in 8 weeks; given a maintenance dose of 800 mg/d, the recurrence rate within one year is 44%; if the maintenance dose is not given after the ulcer heals to prevent recurrence, the recurrence rate within one year is 50% or more.

The commonly used method of ranitidine is: 150 mg, taken twice a day, and after healing, a maintenance dose of 150 mg is given before going to bed every night; the ulcer healing rate is 50%~90% in 4 weeks, 83%~93% in 8 weeks, and the recurrence rate of those using the maintenance dose is about 35% in one year. The dosage of famotidine is 20 mg, taken twice a day or 40 mg every night before going to bed; the efficacy is similar to that of ranitidine.

I believe everyone has a certain understanding of the question of how much is the dosage of the quadruple therapy for gastric ulcer. I hope that the general public will be careful when taking medicines to treat gastric ulcers in the future to avoid adverse effects of the medicines on the body. They should have regular meals and a normal work and rest schedule. They should not put too much psychological burden on themselves to avoid aggravation of the disease.
