Many patients with eczema feel that the disease cannot be cured and they are worried all day long. In fact, for skin diseases like eczema, it can be cured quickly with a little treatment and there is no need to worry too much. There are many causes of eczema, such as genetic factors, food factors, environmental factors, etc. All you need to do is take relevant preventive measures. 1. Methods for treating eczema: For us, when we suffer from the disease, we must seek timely treatment. After all, only early treatment can lead to early recovery. 1. General treatment (1) The cause of the onset or aggravation of the patient's condition should be sought as much as possible, and the patient's medical history, work environment, living habits, thoughts and emotions, etc. should be understood in detail; allergen tests should be performed, such as skin prick tests or intradermal tests, specific IgE antibodies and patch screening tests, to identify possible allergens. (2) Avoid adverse external stimuli as much as possible, such as washing with hot water, scratching violently, etc.; try not to wear synthetic underwear and fur products; avoid eating allergenic and irritating foods, such as seafood, chili peppers, alcohol, coffee, etc. (3) When suffering from eczema, patients should keep their skin clean to prevent skin infection, avoid overwork and maintain an optimistic attitude. 2. Internal therapy: Use antihistamines to relieve itching, and use two together or alternately if necessary. Generalized eczema can be treated with oral or injected corticosteroids, but they should not be used for a long time. 3. Topical therapy: Select appropriate dosage forms and drugs according to the condition of skin lesions. For acute eczema, local washing and wet compresses with normal saline, 3% boric acid or 1:2000-1:10000 potassium permanganate solution, and calamine lotion for astringency and protection. Subacute and chronic eczema should be treated with appropriate glucocorticoid creams, tar preparations or immunomodulators. 2. Symptoms of eczema (1) Acute eczema: The disease develops rapidly and is often symmetrically distributed on the head, face, limbs and vulva. During the course of the disease, various types of rashes such as erythema, papules, blisters, pustules, erosions and scabs may appear in sequence, but it is common for 2-3 types of rashes to coexist at the same time or for a certain type of rash to be predominant at a certain stage. The patient is often scratched due to severe itching, which aggravates the condition. (2) Subacute eczema: After acute eczema, the symptoms of subacute eczema begin to ease, and the rash is mainly composed of papules, scales and scabs. However, if the skin is scratched due to itching, erosion will occur. (3) Chronic eczema: It is often caused by repeated attacks of acute or subacute eczema. It may also present as chronic inflammation from the beginning. The skin of the affected area becomes infiltrated and thickened, turning dark red and pigmented. When it does not heal for a long time, the skin lesions become coarser, dry and prone to cracking. It is common in the calves, hands, feet, elbows, vulva, anus, etc. |
