What skin type is it with dry cheeks and oily T-zone?

What skin type is it if I have oily T-zone and dry cheeks? Some girls always can't figure out whether their skin is dry or oily, which is very troubling for people. After all, skin care can only have good results if you treat the symptoms. Next, I will introduce to you some characteristics of people's various skin types, as well as what you should do and how to do it when caring for skin to achieve better results. Let's learn about it together!

Oily T-zone and dry cheeks is actually combination skin, which is mainly oily on the forehead, nose and chin, with larger pores than other places and prone to acne, while the area around the eyes, cheeks and neck are relatively dry. Most women (some experts claim around 70%) have combination (or normal) skin. In general, this type of skin has medium-sized pores, healthy and even color and texture, and better metabolic circulation.

How to care for combination skin?

Care points: oil control and moisturizing.

1. In spring and summer, the skin tends to be oily, so you need to keep the skin fresh and tighten the pores. In autumn and winter, you need to increase moisturizing.

2. Use appropriate skin care products for different areas to adjust the balance of oil and moisture. For oily areas, you can choose water-based skin care products with less oil content, and for dry areas, you can choose nutritious products with strong moisturizing properties.

3. Maintain regular living habits, pay attention to diet, sleep, emotions, etc., and make internal and external adjustments.

Daily skin care like this:

1. Face washing water: In winter, you should choose warm water at about 30° for washing your face. Washing your face with warm water will not irritate the skin and can also more thoroughly wash away excess oil in the T zone. After washing, splash cold water on your face several times with your hands so that your face will not feel tight.

2. Facial cleanser: Use a mild facial cleanser. The skin is very dry in winter, so you don’t need a facial cleanser with too strong cleansing power. But when washing your face, rub the T-zone a few more times to wash away excess oil and create sufficient foam.

3. Toner : After washing your face, toner is very important. It can moisturize the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. Pour toner into the palm of your hand and gently pat it onto your face. You can also pour enough toner onto a cotton pad and wipe the T-zone. This not only moisturizes the skin but also serves as a secondary cleanse.

Oily skin

Characteristics: Oily skin generally has larger pores, and is prone to acne, blackheads, and blackheads, but is not prone to spots and wrinkles. The face is often shiny and oily, especially the T-zone and forehead.

After applying makeup, oily skin is prone to makeup coming off and smudging. After cleansing, your face will start to produce oil in about 40 minutes to an hour.

Skin care: Choose skin care products that control oil, replenish water and are refreshing. Pay attention to cleansing. Oily skin secretes too much oil, so use skin care products with stronger cleansing power. Otherwise, if the oil is not cleaned clean, it is easy to cause clogged pores, leading to acne and closed comedones. You can apply a pore-shrinking lotion to the enlarged pores every day. For oily skin, it is recommended to apply a cleansing mask once a week and exfoliate once every two weeks.

Normal skin

Features: Neutral skin is simply perfect, not oily, not dry, not sensitive, and very easy to care for. Neutral skin is not as prone to spots and wrinkles as dry skin, nor is it as prone to acne and large pores as oily skin. The water-oil ratio on the face of normal skin is very balanced, so it is not easily sensitive.

After applying makeup, powder is not easy to get stuck or float. About seven or eight hours after cleansing, your face will become slightly oily.

Skin care: Just choose skin care products that are hydrating and moisturizing. Apply a hydrating mask 2-3 times a week, a cleansing mask once every two weeks, and exfoliate once every three weeks. In short, hydration is very important.
