What are some simple ways to remove bed mites?

The bed is the most important tool for people to sleep, because the bed can support the whole family and it is the basis for people to sleep peacefully. However, the bedding contains some things that are harmful to the human body. For example, mites are a relatively common parasite. They usually live in the environment where people live and are most common on the human body. They have a great destructive effect on human skin. Therefore, removing mites is an important issue for people. Let’s take a look at some simple methods to remove bed mites.

Dust mites can cause a variety of diseases, and their metabolites can cause allergic rhinitis, asthma, skin allergies and internal mite disease that we are familiar with.

The harm of mites to hair: Hair follicle mites eat the wall of the hair root, thereby absorbing the nutrients supplied to the hair root, making the hair root thinner, the root shaken, and hair loss begins, becoming the cause of dandruff, itchy head, scalp diseases, rough hair and hair loss.

The mites in bedding are mainly dust mites, which can induce dermatitis, rhinitis, respiratory diseases, etc. Many families will put their quilts in the sun from time to time, thinking that this will kill the annoying mites. However, quilts are usually exposed to the sun, so dust mites cannot be eradicated. Using a high-power microscope, you can still see dust mites on the quilt that has been exposed to the sun.

How to dry your quilt to remove bed mites :

1. The best time to dry quilts is from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. If you put away the quilt too late, cold and moisture will invade, which will be counterproductive.

2. Not all quilts can be exposed to the sun. For example, synthetic fiber cotton should be avoided from exposure to sunlight.

3. Down quilts and wool quilts must not be exposed to the sun, because the high temperature of the sunlight will cause the oil contained in the down and wool to change, producing a rancid smell, and also deteriorate and become brittle, becoming a breeding ground for lice and bacteria.

4. There is a difference between inside and outside when drying quilts. It is usually best to dry the quilt with the inside facing the sun, which can protect the quilt cover and allow the inside of the quilt to be directly exposed to the sunlight. Quilts made of chemical fiber materials can be covered with a thin cloth when drying.

5. Do not pat the quilt vigorously when drying it, as this may easily cause the fibers to fall off and deform. Just gently sweep away the dust.
