Sturgeon and sturgeon look very similar to people, but there are still many differences in their body shape or living habits. Sturgeon is one of the earliest vertebrates. Sturgeon and sturgeon are both unique fish in Heilongjiang. The meat of both fish is very delicious. It would be perfect if you have a full fish feast. Here are the differences between sturgeon and sturgeon: Sturgeons are one of the earliest vertebrates in existence. Sturgeons belong to the class Osteichthyes, subclass Actinopterygii, superorder Chondrocyma, and order Acipenseriformes. What we usually call sturgeon refers to fish of the order Acipenseriformes. It is one of the most primitive groups of fish. There are 8 species of wild sturgeons in my country. They include Acipenser schrenckii, Acipenser dabryanus, and Acipenser kurhausensis distributed in the Heilongjiang, Songhuajiang and Ussuri rivers; Acipenser sinensis, Acipenser dabryanus, and Acipenser sulcata distributed in the Yangtze River and Jinsha River basins; Acipenser nudibranch distributed in the waters of Yining and other places in Xinjiang; and Acipenser sibiricus distributed in the Irtysh River, Buluntohai, and Bosteng Lake in Xinjiang. So far, my country has introduced more than a dozen species from abroad, including the Russian sturgeon, European sturgeon, small-bodied sturgeon, and spoonbill sturgeon, for research or artificial breeding. Growth and reproduction Sturgeon is a large migratory fish. Normally, the Chinese sturgeon inhabits the coastal continental shelf area from the west coast of North Korea in the north to the southeast coast of China in the south. After living in the ocean for 9 to 18 years, when their gonads are close to maturity, they migrate to the Yangtze River in groups, reaching the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in Yibin, Sichuan, and the lower reaches of the Jinsha River to reproduce. Every summer and autumn, they gather at the mouth of the Yangtze River, swim upstream to the Jinsha River in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River to spawn, and then swim downstream with young sturgeons to grow in the deep waters of the East China Sea and the Yellow Sea. In the spawning population, males are generally 9-22 years old and females are 16-29 years old. The Chinese sturgeon also lays a large number of eggs. A female sturgeon can produce millions of eggs at a time, but the survival rate is not high, and only a few of them eventually become adult fish. After spawning, the females quickly begin to migrate down the river. The eggs laid adhere to the rocks or gravel at the bottom of the river. Under water temperature conditions of 17-18℃, the fertilized eggs will hatch in about 5-6 days and nights. The newly hatched fry carry a huge yolk sac and are tadpole-like. They drift downstream and begin to feed after about 12 to 14 days. In the spring of the following year, young sturgeons gradually descended into the river and appeared in the area of Chongming Island at the mouth of the Yangtze River from May to August. After September, young sturgeons, which had reached a body length of 30 cm, gradually left the shallow mudflats of the Yangtze River Estuary and went into the sea for cultivation and growth. The Chinese sturgeon can live up to 40 years. Distribution Sturgeons are now mainly distributed in the Jinsha River, the main stream of the Yangtze River in China, to the estuary, and occasionally appear in other water systems such as the Ganjiang River, Xiangjiang River, Minjiang River, Qiantang River and Pearl River systems. It is found abroad in the mouth of the Han River and Lijiang in Korea and the west side of Kyushu in Japan. Sturgeon is a fish unique to Heilongjiang River. This fish is large in size. According to written records, the largest sturgeon caught here weighs 1,000 kilograms. The local Hezhe fishermen caught a 500-kilogram sturgeon that was 4.75 meters long. When a person rode on the back of the fish, his two feet could just touch the ground. The sturgeon's mouth is long and pointed, a bit like a shark. There are 5 rows of yellowish-brown diamond-shaped bone plates on each side of the body, with 13 pieces in each row, covered with sharp spines. Local fishermen call them "iron armor scales", which are the self-defense weapons of sturgeon. Sturgeon meat is tender, delicious and nutritious. It is a precious fish, and sturgeon eggs are particularly rare. A female sturgeon can produce more than 5 kilograms of roe, about 150,000 eggs. Each egg is as big as a soybean. The nutritional value of three sturgeon eggs is equivalent to that of an egg. Fish maw can be made into fish belly, spinal cord can be made into fish glue, fish bones are brittle and crystal clear, and become precious delicacy after being dried. The nose of sturgeon can also be used to cook a famous dish at banquets. Various parts of sturgeon can be used to cook a famous sturgeon banquet, which is incomparable to any other banquet. |
