How to remove wrinkles from leather shoes? This is the correct way!

In daily life, many people wear leather shoes, especially men in the workplace. Their shoe cabinets must include leather shoes. However, there are many things to pay attention to when wearing leather shoes. They must be carefully maintained. There are many reasons that can cause wrinkles on the surface of leather shoes, which will greatly affect the appearance of the leather shoes and will not look good when worn on the feet. So how do you eliminate wrinkles on leather shoes?

Introduction to the method of removing wrinkles from leather shoes:

Method 1: Egg white + ironing method to remove wrinkles (for most shallow wrinkles)

Specific steps:

1. First, use a clean soft cloth or brush to clean the dust on the surface of the leather shoes. It is best to clean them properly.

2. Prepare an egg, break it, separate the egg white and yolk, and keep the egg white for later use;

3. Then prop up the leather shoes that need to be dewrinkled with shoe trees, cover the creases of the leather shoes with a piece of dry cloth, and iron them with an iron (when ironing, pay attention to using low-temperature suspended ironing, about 2 cm away from the leather shoe surface, to prevent high temperature from scalding the shoes). Check several times during the ironing process and adjust the ironing time.

Method 2: Paraffin + Ironing + Shoe Polish (for deeper wrinkles)

1. For deeper wrinkles on leather shoes, this method can be used when the above method is not obvious. Fill a little paraffin (paraffin blocks and paraffin oil) into the folds of leather shoes, and be sure to fill the gaps evenly.

2. As above, put a layer of dry cloth on the leather shoe surface, and then iron it with an iron until the wrinkles are restored.

3. Apply shoe polish to the restored leather shoes, and the wrinkles will not be obvious! If wrinkles appear again later, you can use method 1.

Method 3: Vaseline (also called petroleum grease) + alcohol cotton

1. Wearing leather shoes for a long time will cause the whole shoe to become wrinkled and hard. At this time, you can apply a layer of vaseline (a mixture of paraffin, etc.) on the folds.

2. After it is absorbed, apply another layer of shoe polish of the same color. The leather surface will become softer and the wrinkles will become lighter.

3. For deeper wrinkles, it is best to take a piece of chicken fat or pork fat, rub it repeatedly, and then bake it over low heat (here you must pay attention to the time and position of changing the shoe upper to avoid over-baking the leather surface) to allow the grease to penetrate into the leather surface.

4. Place the leather shoes that have been soaked in grease in a ventilated place for about two days, then wipe them clean with an alcohol cotton ball and apply care shoe polish. In this way, the wrinkles on the leather shoes will basically disappear and they will be as smooth as before.

Tips to reduce wrinkles on leather shoes:

1. Polish your leather shoes frequently. Can reduce the occurrence of wrinkles

2. It is best not to wear leather shoes on rainy days to prevent them from getting wet and wrinkled and deformed (if necessary, you can wear shoe covers to prevent this).

3. It is best to have two or more pairs of leather shoes to wear in rotation, which is conducive to the elasticity recovery of the leather shoe surface. If conditions permit, you can put in a shoe stretcher to shape the shoe surface.

4. When leather shoes get wet, it is best to place them in a ventilated and dry place to dry. Avoid exposure to the sun or drying. When drying, do not place the shoes vertically with the toes facing down. Placing them parallel can prevent wrinkles.
