Vinegar and garlic treat onychomycosis

Vinegar and garlic contain bactericidal substances, while the cause of onychomycosis is mainly a fungus. Therefore, people use garlic and vinegar to soak feet and hands to assist in the treatment of onychomycosis. The vinegar used in this method is best white vinegar, and it is best not to use sprouted garlic. This method can not only help treat onychomycosis, but also help the body relieve fatigue after a day of work.

Method 1 :

1. Peel at least half a pound of garlic and chop it into small pieces with a knife. The smaller the pieces, the better.

2. Find a glass bottle, wash it clean, and put the chopped garlic into the bottle.

3. Pour the prepared white vinegar into the bottle, making sure it at least covers the garlic, then seal the bottle and store it for at least one day.

4. Take it out after one day. Every night after washing your feet, put the fingers or toes with onychomycosis in the bottle and soak them for half an hour. Morning and evening are better. If you persist in doing this for at least two months, it will definitely be effective in treating onychomycosis. This is a method that requires long-term persistence and is not suitable for people who fish for three days and rest for two days.

Method 2 :

Peel 8 garlic cloves, take the cloves and mash them into garlic paste. Soak them in about 350 ml of good quality vinegar, seal it, and soak it for 1 to 2 days to make vinegar and garlic liquid.

After the solution is prepared, soak the nails with onychomycosis in it for about fifteen minutes, and then take them out. If you still feel a little uncomfortable, soak them in for another five minutes. Don't soak them for too long.

Soak twice a day, morning and evening, each time for no less than 20 minutes. After soaking, wrap the affected area with a cotton ball dipped in vinegar and garlic solution. Generally, there will be obvious results in about a week. There are no side effects except peeling of the skin on your fingers. It is very helpful to improve the symptoms of onychomycosis and assist in the treatment of onychomycosis.

2. Garlic and acetic acid to treat onychomycosis

Take 20 cloves of garlic, remove the skin, chop or mash them, put them in a wide-mouthed glass bottle with a stopper, add 150 ml of 10% acetic acid (you can also use edible vinegar instead), and soak for a day.

Soak the affected area of onychomycosis in warm water for 10 minutes to soften the nails. Use scissors to cut or scrape off the diseased nails that can be removed. Soak the affected area of onychomycosis in garlic acetic acid solution for 15 minutes. Take 3 times a day. Results will be seen in one week. If not cured, another course of treatment can be given according to the above method.

Note: You can also use cotton wool dipped in garlic extract and apply it on the diseased nails. Dipping or applying garlic extract to your nails may be a little painful at times, but you should persist.

The specific steps are as follows

Peel and wash 4 to 5 cloves of garlic, mash them, add about 100 ml of high-quality aged vinegar, seal and soak for 2 hours before use. Soak the affected nail in the vinegar and garlic solution for about 15 minutes, then soak a cotton ball in the vinegar and garlic solution, apply it to the affected nail, bandage it with gauze, and fix it with adhesive tape, 3 times a day.

The vinegar and garlic liquid made once can be used continuously for one day and replaced with new one the next day. Generally, treatment will be effective after 1 to 2 weeks. Continue using it for 1 week after recovery to consolidate the therapeutic effect. In addition, the thickened part of the nail surface should be scraped off with a blade at any time for better results.
