1. Medication

Western medicine can play an auxiliary symptomatic treatment role in the treatment of this disease. Analgesics, sedatives, and vitamins (such as B1, B12) can be used. Hospital medications can include: vasodilators and Chinese herbal medicines, which have a certain effect on relieving symptoms. Traditional Chinese medicine can play a causal role in the treatment of this disease. But you should pay attention to the side effects of oral Chinese medicine, which can cause great damage to the liver, kidneys, and gastrointestinal tract.

2. Diet therapy

Since neck pain is caused by cervical vertebrae hyperplasia, bone degeneration and osteoporosis, patients with cervical spondylosis should eat a diet rich in calcium, protein, B vitamins, vitamin C and vitamin E. Calcium is the main component of bones, and is found primarily in milk, fish, pig tail bones, soybeans, black beans, etc. Protein is also an indispensable nutrient for the formation of ligaments, bones and muscles. Vitamins B and E can relieve pain. Relieve fatigue. In addition, if cervical spondylosis is caused by damp-heat blocking the meridians, you should eat more fruits and vegetables such as kudzu root, bitter gourd, and loofah that can clear away heat, relieve muscles, and dredge the meridians; if it is caused by cold and dampness blocking the meridians, you should eat more dog meat, mutton and other foods that can warm the meridians and dispel cold; if it is caused by blood deficiency and qi stagnation, you should eat more foods such as rooster, carp, and black beans.

3. Traction therapy

In the past, "traction" was one of the preferred methods for treating neck pain. However, it was found that many patients with cervical spondylosis did not improve but worsened their cervical spondylosis after using "traction", especially those who used "traction" for a long time.
