How to deal with sunburn on the back

When the weather is hot, many people like to go out to the beach to bask in the sun and play, but sometimes they are easily sunburned if they are not careful, especially on the back. This situation is also relatively common, so everyone should also pay attention to understand the correct repair methods. If you fall and get injured, you can use a clean gauze dipped in ice water to apply wet compress. If it is more serious, you must be careful to avoid scratching the skin and causing blisters to burst.

1. Minor sunburn. If the skin is slightly hot and red, you can apply it with a clean gauze dipped in ice water, or put a wet towel in a plastic bag and freeze it in the refrigerator for 5 minutes. Then take out the towel and apply it to the reddened skin until the skin returns to its original color and temperature.

2. Moderate sunburn. If the skin is obviously red and swollen, and there is local pain, you can first apply cold compress with ice water until the skin feels comfortable. Or you can mix vinegar and water in a 1:1 ratio, pour them into a spray bottle, shake well, and spray it on the sunburned area. There will be slight pain, but the redness and swelling will also be relieved.

3. Severe sunburn. The skin becomes hot, painful, itchy, and may be accompanied by blisters and peeling. Avoid rubbing the skin to prevent the blisters from bursting. To prevent infection, never tear off the peeling skin with your hands, and don't wash your face or take a shower with water above 37 degrees Celsius. Otherwise, it will only aggravate peeling.

4. Ice compress. After sunburn, return indoors immediately and apply ice water to the sunburned area for about 15 minutes. It is best to keep alternating the application until the skin feels cool and returns to its original color and temperature.

5. Milk facial mask. Applying ice milk to the sunburned area can quickly relieve the burning and pain after sunburn. When the pain is almost gone, rinse it off with cold water and then apply after-sun repair gel.

6. Use moisturizing gel. Apply a moisturizing lotion containing moisturizing ingredients on your face and gently press your face with your palms to promote the skin's absorption of moisture. After doing this a few times, your skin will regain its original moisturizing ability.
