Can liver disease cause back pain?

Liver disease is the most common disease, and we all know that this disease poses a great threat to human health, so we must focus on active treatment and resolution. Liver disease usually causes symptoms such as back pain, especially liver cancer, which causes greater harm, so we must pay attention to liver disease or various abnormal problems in the body and actively treat them.

1. If the tumor is located deep in the liver, there is usually little pain or dull pain. If the tumor is located close to the liver capsule, the pain in the liver area is usually mild or non-existent during the initial hours of the tumor. As the tumor grows, the pain in the liver area becomes more and more severe. In the later stages, the pain is often unbearable and heartbreaking, and it lasts for a long time, which has a great negative impact on the physical and psychological health of liver cancer patients.

2. If you suffer from liver cancer with right back pain, you need to have a complete understanding of this disease. If the liver cancer tumor is located in the right lobe, the pain will be in the liver area of the right hypochondrium, and sometimes it can radiate to the right shoulder blade, which should be distinguished from arthritis; if the tumor is in the left lobe of the liver, it will mostly present as "right chest" pain; when the tumor is located in the posterior segment of the right lobe, it can sometimes cause low back pain.

3. The efficacy of modern radiotherapy technology in treating right back pain, liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung metastasis, liver metastasis and retroperitoneal tumors has been significantly improved. Therefore, localized tumors of solid organs can be cured not only by surgery but also by modern radiotherapy, with less side effects and trauma.

4. The principle of the gamma knife in the "Air Force General Radiotherapy Department" is to focus the energy of multiple cobalt sources on one point through a rotating cone focusing method. During treatment, multiple beams of rays are rotated and focused toward the focal point, so that each beam of rays becomes a dynamic conical scanning surface, with the focal point being the apex of the cone. The lesions at the focal point receive continuous high-dose irradiation, while the surrounding normal tissues receive scanning low-dose irradiation, thereby widening the dose gradient between tumor tissue and normal tissue, making it possible to effectively kill the tumor and reduce damage to surrounding tissues.
