Tips to prevent shoes from rubbing your toes

Everyone knows that when buying shoes, it is best to buy the ones that fit you perfectly. This is because shoes get bigger as you wear them. If you buy a size larger for comfort at the beginning, the shoes will be too big and no longer fit your feet after you wear them a few times. New shoes, no matter what price range, will always rub your feet a little when you wear them, especially those with pointed toes. So what can you do to avoid rubbing your feet? Let's talk about some tips to prevent shoes from rubbing your toes.

1. Cover the part of the shoe that rubs your feet with a wet towel for a few minutes. Then take a dry soft towel to wrap the place where your feet are squeezed. Use a hammer to knock the part of the shoe that rubs your feet a few times to make it flat. Once the leather of the shoe becomes soft and flat, it will no longer rub your feet.

2. Take a piece of newspaper, crumple it into a ball, and dip it in water (not too wet, but make sure the whole ball is dipped in water). Then wrap the wet newspaper with a piece of dry newspaper and stuff it into the part that is squeezing your feet. Then seal the shoes in a plastic bag and leave them overnight.

3. If the new shoes pinch your feet because they are too small, you may try to wet them with a wet towel and then use shoe wedges to stretch them larger so that they will fit your feet better.

4. Before putting on your shoes, take a piece of soap (or a normal candle will do) and apply a thin layer of soap on the part that has most contact with your heels. This will make the heels smooth and will no longer rub your feet.

5. No matter which part of the shoe rubs your foot, just apply a little bit of white wine to the part that rubs your foot, and it will be guaranteed to stop rubbing.

6. If there is no such service where you are, you can use a hair dryer to blow inside the shoes for twenty minutes at a time, once every half an hour, and three times will be enough. I have tried this method and it works. If the newly bought shoes rub your feet, you can use a hair dryer to soften the heels and the front part that presses on the feet before wearing them. The effect is quite good.

7. Go to the supermarket and buy heel stickers. Follow the instructions and stick them on. Not only will they not rub your ankles, but they will also make the shoes fit your feet better. It's very good. You can also ask someone who originally wears shoes one size larger than yours to help you wear them for a few days, and the shoes will become looser.
