Sympathetic nervous system excitement insomnia

Sympathetic nervous system excitement insomnia

Many people suffer from insomnia due to work pressure or lifestyle habits. However, some people cannot fall asleep for a long time because of the excitement of their sympathetic nerves. So, when encountering this situation, is there any way to relieve sympathetic nerve excitement? If you want to solve the insomnia problem caused by sympathetic nerve excitement, you must first understand what the sympathetic nerves are and which foods can help us regulate the sympathetic nerves.

The sympathetic nervous system is part of the autonomic nervous system. It consists of the central part, sympathetic trunk, ganglia, nerves and plexuses. The central part is located in the lateral corners of the gray matter of the entire length of the thoracic spinal cord and the 1st to 3rd lumbar spinal segments. The sympathetic trunk is located on both sides of the spine and is composed of sympathetic trunk ganglia and interganglionic branches. It can be divided into five parts: cervical, thoracic, lumbar, sacral and coccygeal. Regulates the activity of the heart and other internal organs. The sympathetic nervous system has a wide range of activities. Stimulating the sympathetic nerves can cause contraction of blood vessels in the abdominal viscera and skin endings, strengthening and accelerating the heartbeat, dilating the pupils, reducing the secretion of digestive glands, and increasing the working capacity of tired muscles. The activity of the sympathetic nervous system mainly ensures the physiological needs of the human body when it is in a state of tension. Under normal circumstances, the sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves of the human body, which have opposite functions, are in a state of mutual balance and restraint. When the body is in a state of tense activity, sympathetic nervous activity plays a major role.

Diet therapy

Fry soybeans, black beans and kelp until they turn brown, grind into powder, mix the powder with boiling water every day and drink it instead of tea. Take a small amount of Korean ginseng, decoct it and drink it, which has a good effect on autonomic nervous system disorders caused by menopause in women.

Eat the following foods regularly

Mushrooms: Because the brown part of the mushroom contains melanin, it can act on the autonomic nervous system, stabilizing and calming the autonomic nerves.

Wheat: Wheat contains pantothenic acid (VB), which can produce ethanol, which can transmit nerve stimulation to the autonomic nervous system. Pantothenic acid can prevent autonomic nervous system disorders.

Lamb: It contains ingredients that promote the function of internal organs and blood vessels of the human body.

Wakame: Wakame can prevent symptoms such as irritability and excitement caused by insufficient calcium intake.

Carrots: Eating carrots can increase the content of adrenal cortex hormone, inhibit external stimulation to the mind, and improve the symptoms of nervous disorders.
