High-power contact lenses must be thinner and lighter to be comfortable to wear, because people with high-power contact lenses have higher requirements. There are other brands of contact lenses that also have high-power contact lenses, but they need to be specially customized. Friends with high myopia can take off their heavy frame glasses and wear light contact lenses beautifully.

There is a conversion formula for the conversion of frame glasses and contact lenses. Contact lens diopter = frame glasses diopter ÷ (1-0.012 × frame glasses diopter). 1 diopter is equivalent to 100 degrees. The diopter of myopia is a negative number, and the diopter of hyperopia is a positive number. 0.012 is the distance between the highest point of the frame glasses and the black eyeball, in meters. According to this formula, the degree of frame glasses and contact lenses can be calculated correctly.

Contact lenses can correct mild astigmatism. Generally speaking, the lower the water content, the better the effect of correcting astigmatism. If the astigmatism degree is high, you can choose customized contact lenses for astigmatism. In principle, if the astigmatism degree is greater than 75 degrees, it is recommended to choose special astigmatism contact lenses.
