Why is the urethra opening white?

In daily life, we need to pay more attention to our physical health to prevent the occurrence of diseases. The human urinary system is more susceptible to infection, and the whitening of the urethra is a common symptom for many people. Generally, the whitening of the urethra is a normal phenomenon. If there are no other lesions, no treatment is required and you can observe it more.

What is the cause of the urethra opening being white?

It is normal for the urethral opening to turn white. It is not a big deal if there are no other abnormal symptoms. Pay attention to personal hygiene and wash it with warm water every night.

How to prevent urinary tract diseases

1. External factors: The temperature is high in summer, bacteria are abnormally active, and their invasiveness is enhanced, threatening the female urinary system.

2. Internal factors In the summer, if the body's resistance is reduced due to lack of sleep, excessive fatigue or reduced appetite, the urethra and bladder are prone to congestion and swelling. If you drink less water, the urine becomes less and more concentrated, and the bacteria cannot be flushed away in time, which increases the risk of urethritis. At the same time, the female urethra is close to the anus, and bacteria outside the anus can easily invade and cause disease.

In view of the above factors, the following can be done:

1. Drink more water to take advantage of the cooling and diuretic effects of water, flush out parasitic bacteria in the urethra, and eliminate the risk of infection.

2. Take a bath and change your underwear frequently. It is advisable to wear cotton underwear that is breathable and has strong moisture absorption.

3. Wash the vulva and anus frequently with water. Pay attention to hygiene when washing. Wash the vulva first, then the anus, and then urinate. In this way, the bacteria brought in during the cleaning process can be flushed out of the body by urine. You can also do daily checks: first observe the vaginal discharge and then smell the discharge, menstrual blood or the odor of the vulva and it should feel smooth and soft.

Urethral care:

Indwelling catheterization is a commonly used nursing technique in clinical practice. Patients with indwelling catheters may suffer from catheter-associated urinary tract infection (CAUTI) due to various reasons. Cleaning and disinfection are important measures to prevent urinary tract infections. Therefore, daily disinfection of the vulva and around the urethral opening should be a routine nursing care for patients with indwelling catheters.

Basic nursing textbooks have always required that the vulva and urethra be wiped with a sterilized cotton ball 1 to 2 times a day.
