Laser treatment for acne scars on the face

Laser treatment for acne scars on the face

Acne marks can often be seen on the face and other parts of the human skin. Most of them are caused by improper skin care. These acne marks can actually be treated. In addition to using some skin care products, we can also use laser treatment, which is a relatively effective treatment. Our birthmarks can also be faded by laser. So is laser treatment effective for the uneven acne marks on the face?

Laser acne scar treatment, also known as laser acne scar removal, is a leading achievement in acne scar removal technology and the most ideal method for acne scar removal. It uses the instantaneous explosive energy of laser to eliminate all the pigments of pigmented acne scars. At the same time, laser can also effectively stimulate the regeneration of skin collagen, making uneven acne scars smooth again. Coupled with the laser's grinding effect, the acne scar removal effect is even more ideal.

Types of acne scars: generally include pitted acne scars, hypertrophic acne scars, black acne scars, and red acne scars.

1. Pit acne scars: Pit scars are relatively common. When acne becomes too inflamed and damages too much collagen in the dermis, pits may be left due to the collapse of the dermis. Many acne patients like to squeeze pimples with their hands. If the squeezing is not appropriate, it will greatly increase the chance of suppurative infection, and it will easily turn small blackheads and pimples into big pimples, leaving scars. Once a hole is formed, it will not disappear automatically.

2. Hypertrophic acne scars: Hypertrophic acne scars are usually determined by congenital constitution. They are the most difficult to treat and are prone to recurrence. This type of scar is the exact opposite of a pit-shaped scar. It is a transitionally thickened scar that leaves an obvious red protrusion where the acne occurred. It looks red and swollen, and what's more serious is that it will slowly grow due to scratching or external stimulation. It often occurs in people with special physical conditions. Because the fibroblasts in the dermis of these people are too active, they overreact during the wound healing process. As a result, after the dermis is injured due to inflammation, it does not become concave but bulges out, turning into hypertrophic skin tissue hyperplasia.

3. Black acne scars: Black acne scars are caused by pigmentation after acne inflammation, which leaves a dark and dirty color in the places where red acne has grown, making the skin dull. These black colors will actually disappear slowly over time.

4. Red acne marks: The red spots are caused by inflammation of cells in the original acne area, which leads to dilation of blood vessels. However, the blood vessels do not shrink immediately after the acne disappears, and a flat, red, temporary erythema is formed. It will become redder when the skin temperature rises or when you exercise. This erythema is not considered a scar and will slowly fade away within half a year.
