Teeth are white like calcification

Teeth are white like calcification

Teeth are extremely important and play an indispensable role. When we eat every day, we first have to use our teeth to grind the food into the stomach before it can be digested and absorbed. But everyone's teeth are different. Some people's teeth are yellow, while some people's teeth are white like calcification. Both are unhealthy. Teeth are closely related to the calcium content in the body. Let's take a look at the reasons why teeth are white like calcification.

1. Once the enamel is calcified, there is no chance to solve or alleviate it through diet or the like, because calcium can no longer be deposited. Please do not believe any advertisements that claim to supplement calcium or vitamins for teeth. Those are nonsense and we dentists find them despicable.

2. For your type of enamel hypoplasia, it can only be improved through porcelain restoration, which is now called cosmetic crown technology. But there is also a problem, that is, this type of tooth has poor acid resistance and strength, so the selection and preparation of the abutment teeth are very important. Therefore, I suggest that the OP go to a professional dental hospital or the oral rehabilitation department of a large comprehensive hospital to get the best treatment effect.

3. Go for a dental cleaning. Pay attention to oral hygiene. You said your oral habits are no worse than others. That may be because your brushing method is wrong. It is generally recommended to brush your teeth once in the morning and evening, and you can add one more time after lunch, but you must brush thoroughly.

4. Place the brush head on the neck of the tooth, with the bristles at a 45-degree angle to the tooth surface, and the bristle ends facing the root apex. Apply gentle pressure so that part of the bristle ends enter the gingival sulcus and part of them are outside the sulcus and enter the adjacent surface.

Brush vertically, not horizontally.

Use gentle pressure to vibrate the toothbrush head in short distances in the near and far directions 4-5 times

Apply a little force on the occlusal surface to make the tip of the hair reach the pit and groove, and vibrate it in the front-back direction 4-5 times.

In addition to brushing teeth, other methods such as toothpicks, dental floss, interdental brushes, etc. must be used to completely remove plaque.

5. Clean your teeth every day. Develop good oral hygiene habits, rinse your mouth after meals, and brush your teeth in the morning and evening, each time for 3 minutes. To master the correct method of brushing your teeth, you should use the vertical brushing method, that is, brush the upper teeth from top to bottom, and brush the lower teeth from bottom to top, brushing every surface.

6. Choose the right toothbrush and toothpaste. Use a children's toothbrush to brush your teeth and choose a suitable toothpaste according to the actual conditions of your oral cavity. Fluoride toothpaste can reduce the incidence of tooth decay by 40%, but it is not suitable for children under 3-4 years old and people living in high-fluoride areas. It is not advisable to use a certain medicated toothpaste for a long time.

7. See a dentist promptly. If tooth decay occurs or the child feels pain, parents should take the child to the hospital to see a dentist in time. Never think that toothache is not a disease and don’t make a fuss about it. This is a very serious mistake.
