Imaging manifestations of pulmonary tuberculosis

Imaging manifestations of pulmonary tuberculosis

The imaging manifestations of pulmonary tuberculosis can cause primary lesions to appear in the lungs, as well as enlarged lymph nodes in the chest, uneven density, and the appearance of plaques and nodules. Pulmonary tuberculosis is a relatively common disease that requires early detection and treatment to relieve symptoms.

1. If it is primary pulmonary tuberculosis, imaging examinations may cause primary lesions to appear in the lungs and may also cause enlargement of the lymph nodes in the chest.

2. For mild secondary pulmonary tuberculosis, imaging will show local plaques and nodules, and isolated cavities. Severe cases may cause bronchial dissemination and lung damage.

Pulmonary tuberculosis is mainly caused by irregular diet, and may also be caused by repeated stimulation of chronic inflammation. During the onset of the disease, the patient will experience coughing and sputum, accompanied by symptoms of lung swelling and pain. In severe cases, symptoms of coughing up blood may occur. It is necessary to go to the hospital in time for a lung CT or MRI examination, and then use some anti-tuberculosis drugs under the guidance of a doctor according to the results of the examination for treatment. Tuberculosis patients must disinfect the tableware they use in a timely manner in daily life and avoid sharing a set of tableware with family members to prevent infection.
