Do you feel bloated in the stomach after eating?

People with gastrointestinal dysfunction often have a bloated stomach and bloating after eating. Although it does not seem to be a serious illness, it can affect our normal life. When gastrointestinal diseases occur, we must pay attention to our diet. Our daily diet must be light and we should eat easily digestible food. It is best not to eat before going to bed at night. You can take some metoclopramide or hawthorn to help digestion.

Gastrointestinal dysfunction treatment considerations :

1. Eat more vegetables and whole grains: Fiber-rich vegetables and whole grains can enhance intestinal motility to prevent constipation.

2. Eat less gelatinous foods: These foods contain more salt and certain carcinogens.

3. The more times you chew food, the more saliva will be secreted, which has a protective effect on the gastric mucosa.

4. Pay attention to eating nutritious foods, eat more high-protein foods and high-vitamin foods to ensure that the body has adequate nutrients.

In addition to the above, patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction should also pay attention to some taboos in daily life, such as quitting smoking, drinking, and eating spicy and cold food. These substances themselves can also harm health. Only a proper diet can strengthen the body and keep the immune and nervous systems in good condition.

Clinical manifestations of gastrointestinal disorders

Gastrointestinal dysfunction usually has a slow onset, and the clinical manifestations are mainly gastrointestinal symptoms. Patients with gastric neurosis often show symptoms such as acid reflux, belching, anorexia, nausea, vomiting, a burning sensation under the xiphoid process, fullness after eating, and upper abdominal discomfort or pain. The symptoms worsen with every mood change. Enteric neurosis, also known as irritable bowel syndrome, is the most common functional disease of the gastrointestinal tract. The main symptoms are intestinal symptoms. Patients often have abdominal pain, abdominal distension, intestinal rumbling, diarrhea and constipation. When there is pain in the left lower abdomen, a cord-like mass can be felt. The abdominal pain is often aggravated by eating or drinking cold drinks, and is relieved after defecation, flatulence and enema. Abdominal pain is often accompanied by symptoms such as abdominal distension, difficulty in defecation or increased frequency of bowel movements, and stools that may be loose or dry. In the past, this was called colon dysfunction, spastic colon, allergic colon, spastic colitis, mucous colitis, emotional diarrhea, etc.

The onset is usually slow, the course of the disease often lasts for years, and it is persistent or has recurring attacks. The clinical manifestations are mainly gastrointestinal symptoms, which may be limited to the pharynx, esophagus or stomach, but intestinal symptoms are the most common. They may also be accompanied by other common symptoms of neurosis.

Gastrointestinal disorders are mainly caused by the following factors:

1. Irregular diet

It causes gastric motility disorder, promotes the secretion of gastric juice, and eventually leads to gastritis or gastric ulcer.

2. Pathological causes

Such as indigestion, gastritis, ulcer disease, acute gastroenteritis and so on.

3. Mental factors

Negative emotions can cause hypothalamic dysfunction through the cerebral cortex, thereby affecting gastrointestinal function and leading to gastrointestinal dysfunction.
