What are the benefits of soaking soybeans in water for watering flowers
In our lives, many foods can actually have many different uses if they are not finished. We have previously introduced the benefits of drinking boiled soybeans in water to the body. In fact, soybeans are also a good fertilizer for some flowers and plants. Today we will introduce to you the benefits of using soaked soybeans in water to water flowers. If you have some leftover soybeans, you can use them.

Simple method of making flower fertilizer with soybean

Although the production process is very simple, the effect of flower fertilizer is amazing. In addition, soybeans are also easy to buy and can be found everywhere in farmers' markets and supermarkets. Friends who are interested can try it.

First, soak an appropriate amount of soybeans in warm water in a basin for about three hours, until the skin becomes wrinkled and can be pinched with fingernails. Then put it in a clean, oil-free pot, add water and bring to a boil over high heat, then simmer over low heat for a quarter of an hour until the soybeans can be crushed with your fingers. Turn off the heat and let cool. Use a spoon to crush the soybeans in the pot, then find a large-mouthed bottle with a lid and pour in the water and cover it. A reminder here is that because the substance in the bottle needs to ferment, it should not be filled too full, just fill it to 90% full. Otherwise, the fermented fertilizer water will overflow and dirty the ground, which will be difficult to clean up. In addition, don't tighten the bottle mouth too tightly, leave a little gap, which can not only speed up the fermentation process, but also avoid the bottle bursting due to air expansion during the fermentation process. (Haha, that sounds a bit scary, but it’s always good to be careful, right?)

Finally, place the sealed bottle in a cool place and let it sit. After a few days, you will see that the beans in the bottle become lighter in color and turn white. Don't worry about it, just continue fermenting. It will be basically done in about a month. However, this process depends on the ambient temperature. When the temperature is high, it may take more than ten days. When the temperature is cool, it will take relatively longer.

Warm reminder: The fermented soybean fertilizer water should be appropriately diluted before application, and the bean dregs can be applied to the roots by shallow burial.

In addition, the fermented bean fertilizer water smells bad, so it is recommended to wear a mask when applying it, haha! However, you can also choose to put some orange peels in it in advance when making it, which can also effectively reduce the degree of unpleasant smell.
