Is whole body photorejuvenation good?

Is whole body photorejuvenation good?

As people age, their skin will also show certain signs of aging. The skin directly determines a person's overall image. After all, if the skin is dark and has wrinkles, then the person will naturally look weathered. However, medicine is now more advanced, and many problems can be corrected through plastic surgery or micro-plastic surgery. Photorejuvenation is a treatment that can change the condition of the skin.

However, photorejuvenation has the following disadvantages:

1. Pain

Don’t think that photorejuvenation is as simple as applying a facial mask. Photorejuvenation will still cause slight pain. Every time energy is emitted, you will feel your skin as if it is gently flicked by a rubber band, and there is a slight feeling of heat, just like the feeling of being exposed to the sun. According to a survey, 95% of people can tolerate it without applying anesthetics.

2. Swelling and heat

As mentioned above, after the treatment, there will be a warm feeling, and some skin may also feel red and swollen, but the degree and duration of the redness and swelling vary from person to person. Generally speaking, darker skin will be more red. But don't worry, cold compress can promote the disappearance of redness. Generally, after ice compress, the redness and heat sensation will disappear within one or two hours.

3. Scabbing

Photorejuvenation will not form scabs, and you cannot tell what you have done after the procedure. Scabbing reaction may only occur in the treatment of vascular diseases, such as red birthmarks, red acne marks, etc. The degree of scab formation is like that after being exposed to the sun. In this case, most people can scab off and heal in about a week after cold compress.

4. Dry skin

The heat generated by photorejuvenation mainly evaporates the moisture in the skin. At the same time, the instantaneous high energy level can cause a brief turbulence in the skin barrier. After the treatment, you will feel dry skin, which is normal. You just need to pay attention to moisturizing and hydrating!

5. Pigmentation

Pigmentation is a common risk of laser cosmetic surgery, but the incidence rate is between 0.2% and 5%. <5% is a low-probability event, but it cannot be assumed that it does not exist. If you are unlucky enough to get it, your skin color may be one shade darker than your normal skin color. The pigmentation will last for about 1 to 3 months, depending on your personal metabolism. Generally speaking, pigmentation can be well corrected by topical medications.

6. Skin sensitivity

Many people are not confident about photon treatments, and skin sensitivity is a concern for most people. However, in current Chinese and foreign academic materials, there is very little description of photon rejuvenation and skin sensitivity. Xiaoqiu is not trying to cover up for photon rejuvenation, but skin sensitivity is a matter of personal subjective feelings and is difficult to assess. More importantly, photons can be used to treat red blood streaks, promote blood vessel closure, and improve sensitive skin! However, some people do complain that their skin becomes sensitive after photon treatment. How to deal with this rare problem among a very small number of people is a problem.

In addition, there is another concern that is not a side effect: Will photons make the skin thinner? The answer is no. The skin is constantly metabolizing like tree bark. Photothermal stimulation will actually promote collagen regeneration and thicken the skin.
