How to get rid of dust lice in your home

Dust mites are very annoying creatures. They are so tiny that they can only be seen under a magnifying glass. They feed on dead cells of animals and can survive anywhere there is dust. 70% of their bodies are liquid and they are very prone to skin allergies. To get rid of dust mites, you need to take advantage of their characteristics and weaknesses: 1. Kill them with high temperatures; 2. Kill them with pesticides; 3. Dry clothes in the sun; 4. Thoroughly clean the wood chips on the boards. This is the only way to get rid of dust mites. Let’s learn the detailed method below.

1. Dust mites are afraid of high temperatures. They live in every corner of the room. Wherever there is dust, there are dust mites. Washing sheets and pillows with hot water at 55 degrees Celsius every week can kill dust mites immediately. The optimal growth humidity for dust mites is 75 - 80%. Simply lowering the humidity can also slow down the increase in the number of dust mites.

2. Pyrethroid insecticides have extremely strong contact and stomach poison effects, and they act quickly and last long. They are easy to use and can be directly diluted with water to fully exert their efficacy. They have good dispersion, are safe for animals, have no irritating odor, and have no corrosive or destructive effects on the surface of objects. It also has a certain egg-killing effect. It has a higher contact killing effect on fleas. If the infestation of dust lice, bed lice and book lice is serious, you can increase the dosage, up to 120ml per sprayer. Then turn over all the bed boards, take out the wooden boards, and expose the crossbeams of the bed frame. If there is a crossbeam in the middle of the wooden bed, you need to remove the crossbeam, as the intersection is an important place for dust lice, bed lice and book lice to lay eggs.

3. Remember to spray carefully until water flows on the wooden board, especially the junction of the bed board and the bed frame, and the gaps in the cut surface of the bed board, where dust lice, bed lice and book lice hide. Next, check the walls and ceilings. Any small black spots on the walls are concentrated places where dust lice, bed lice and book lice are concentrated. Those black spots are where bed bugs usually defecate, and there will be many insect eggs. Usually the holes and nail holes in the wall are the breeding grounds for dust lice, bed lice and book lice. After the killing is completed, if conditions permit, fill the gaps in the wall in time to reduce the existence of gaps. The walls and bed boards were all cleaned.

4. After washing clothes, they should be exposed to the sun to prevent residual insect eggs. After spraying the medicine, close the doors and windows for 3 hours before entering. Come in three hours later to clean up and check and clean the gaps in time to see if there are any remaining dust lice, bed lice, or book lice.
