What is the effect of soaking clothes in vinegar

Our current impression of vinegar is that it serves as a seasoning. But in fact, vinegar is not only used for cooking, it can also play a very helpful role in all aspects of our lives. It can kill bacteria very well, and can also be used to help purify the air, allowing patients to effectively relieve rhinitis and other problems. But do you know that soaking clothes in vinegar can also produce unexpected effects?

1. It can remove sweat odor from clothes, clean colors, and prevent static adsorption.

2 Vinegar is extremely effective in pre-treating stains, softening water, and enhancing the effectiveness of ordinary laundry detergents. Distilled white vinegar is best for washing fabrics, but if that's all you have on hand, apple cider vinegar will work just as well.

3 Blankets: When washing cotton or washable wool blankets, add 2 cups of vinegar to the last rinse. This will help remove the soap and make the blanket softer and fluffier.

4 Fabric softener: Add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the last rinse to make clothes softer.

5. Lint: Adding vinegar to the final rinse can reduce lint buildup and prevent animal hair from sticking to your clothes.

6 New clothes: Some new clothes may be treated with chemicals and may irritate sensitive skin. Soak new clothing in a mixture of about 15 gallons of water and 1/2 cup of vinegar. Rinse, then wash as usual.

7. Static Cling: A good way to prevent static cling is to add 1/2 cup of vinegar to the water during the last rinse.

8. Coffee and tea: To deal with existing coffee or tea stains, soak the clothes in a solution of 1/3 cup vinegar and 2/3 cup water, then dry them in the sun.

9. Prevent the shirt from fading: When rinsing the shirt for the last time, add some white vinegar to the water to prevent the clothes from fading and keep them clean and shiny. Adding a little white vinegar to the rinse water can preserve the original color of white silk fabrics and prevent yellowing.

10. To remove traces of hair dye on clothes, apply rice vinegar on clothes stained with black hair dye. After about 10 minutes, wash with soap. The stains will be washed away quickly without leaving any traces.
