How to open the canthus seamlessly

Today's surgical methods are becoming more and more sophisticated. Although a minor operation like canthoplasty sounds simple, it also requires skills. There is now a scarless canthoplasty surgical method that can leave no visible traces after the procedure, and you can also clearly feel that the eyes have become much bigger. Many people don’t know much about this scarless canthoplasty surgical method, so today I will give you a detailed introduction.

1. Canthoplasty surgery includes inner canthus enlargement, epicanthus correction and outer canthus enlargement. The epicanthoplasty surgery is relatively simple. It only requires a minimally invasive incision of two to three millimeters. The appearance of the patient's eyes will be greatly improved. The scar problem that many girls worry about is not a problem because the scar will not be very obvious after the stitches are removed.

2. The principle of the epicanthoplasty surgery is flap plastic surgery, which artificially changes the position of the Mongolian fold. This can make the fold of the inner eyelid consistent with the direction of the double eyelid fold, perfectly showing the hidden pink tear caruncle and making the double eyelid shape more perfect.

3. The stitches of scarless canthoplasty surgery can usually be removed within 5-7 days. In special circumstances, follow the doctor's instructions. The wound should not be exposed to water within 2-7 days, and special attention should be paid to diet: spicy and irritating food, seafood, etc. are prohibited. Housework is not allowed, and tobacco and alcohol are not allowed. If the eyes are swollen, consult an expert for cold compresses to reduce swelling, and take antibiotics for 3-5 days. The recovery time is only about one month.

Note:

Patients with eye diseases such as conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and severe trachoma must be cured before undergoing surgery. Patients with inflammation around the eyes should postpone surgery. Surgery should be avoided during the menstrual period. Those who are planning to become pregnant should not undergo surgery. Anticoagulant drugs such as steroid hormones and aspirin should be stopped 7-10 days before surgery.

Epicanthoplasty is a plastic surgery used to correct microphthalmia. The medial and lateral canthi must be enlarged, and if necessary, a canthoplasty ligament fixation may be performed to correct widening of the orbital distance, or ptosis correction surgery may be required. Congenital microphthalmia has narrow palpebral fissures, severe epicanthus, and is often combined with widened medial canthal distance and ptosis, so surgery needs to be performed in several sessions.
