Tips for Thinning Hair

Tips for Thinning Hair

In life, most women have long hair. We all know that long hair is difficult to take care of and it takes time. If the hair is thick, it will be even more difficult to take care of. In fact, we can use some methods to make our hair thinner. Thinning hair can easily make people feel relaxed. So what are the tips for thinning hair? Here are some ways to treat thinning hair.

Tips for Thinning Hair

The first simple trick is to cut your hair short. After cutting your hair short, it will be easier to manage and you will feel refreshed. In the past two years, many celebrities have cut their hair short, making them look younger and more capable.

If we don’t want to cut our hair short, we can also use another method to make our hair easier to manage, such as braiding our hair. In the summer, long hair can easily make people feel hot. Braiding your hair can solve this problem. You don’t have to cut your hair and you can also add a touch of style to yourself.

Another method is to thin the hair. Usually when cutting hair in a barber shop, the barber will use some knives to thin the hair. Sometimes you can suggest your barber to cut off the top layer of hair. This way our hair will look thin and comfortable.

Generally speaking, having a lot of hair is actually a good thing, which means that your body is well-nourished. If you have less hair, it means that there is something wrong with your body. So girls with a lot of hair should not feel bothered, because it is a rare thing. Although having too much hair is troublesome, we can solve this problem with some tricks. We don't need to use some folk remedies to make our hair fall out.

Buy a pair of thinning shears. Thinning shears are mostly used in hair salons. The edge of thinning shears is thicker and serrated than ordinary scissors. Thinning shears can cut off about 15% of the hair at a time, making the hair less and thinner while maintaining the original shape. Thinning shears can be purchased at a beauty supply store or in the hair supply section of a mall.

Before using thinning shears, make sure your hair is clean and dry. When using regular scissors, damp hair is easier to control during the shaping process. But if you use thinning shears, your hair must be dry so that you can clearly see how much hair you are cutting off and avoid thinning it too much.

Wash your hair with shampoo and blow-dry as usual. If you normally let your hair dry naturally, then let it dry naturally; if you normally prefer to blow dry your hair, then blow dry it. In short, before thinning, make sure your hair is as close to its normal, most natural state as possible.

Before thinning your hair, don't use the hair products you normally use to thin your hair. Otherwise the thinning shears will get clogged and you won’t be able to see the true thickness of your hair. In short, at this time, just let your hair show its true appearance.

First, pull out a bunch of hair about the thickness of your fist. Thinning hair is best done in sections, treating a similar amount of hair each time. First pull out the first section of hair and clip the remaining hair to separate it.

Thinning hair strands. To complete this step, first place the scissors at the halfway point of the hair, almost at the ear level, cut once, then open the scissors and move to the halfway point of the remaining hair, cut again, and repeat this process until you reach the end of the hair.

If your hair is thicker in the lower part, you may want to start lower, even a few inches above the ends.

Note that the starting point should not be too close to the hair roots. Because the principle of thinning shears is actually to cut off part of the hair, so if your starting point is too high, many small hairs will be cut near the scalp. Look at how long your shortest layer of hair is and it's best to start cutting from the height of the ends of this layer of hair.
