2. Allergic dermatitis

Allergic dermatitis is a very specific immune response, and even if the same cosmetics are used, only some people may experience symptoms. Symptoms may include eczematous lesions with pruritus and, in severe cases, vesicular lesions. It is important not to scratch the affected area, otherwise it may cause wounds or secondary infection.

The symptoms will not appear immediately after applying cosmetics, but will only react after several days to two weeks. Millet-sized blisters will appear on the applied area and spread to the surrounding areas where no cosmetics are applied. Even if you stop using cosmetics immediately, the symptoms will not disappear immediately in many cases.

Substances that cause allergic dermatitis are generally called allergens and antigens. They will not cause skin diseases in normal people, but will only cause allergies in people with special physical conditions. The same ingredient may cause different reactions on the skin in different parts of the body, which means that allergic reactions mainly occur in the part of the body that comes into contact with the antigen.

If the skin problem is not caused by simple irritation but by allergies, then even a small amount of cosmetics can cause problems. In this case, it is best to stop using cosmetics and handle them carefully to avoid pigmentation in the allergic area, which can cause temporary uneven skin tone.
